During the Jian Yuan period of the Southern Qi Dynasty, Tan Chao, a monk, began to build a temple here, which was later changed to Qingming Temple. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Li Zong inscribed Yuquan Qing Temple, and Qing Kangxi named qinglian temple, later renamed qinglian temple, and wrote the poem "Yuquan has five-colored fish named qinglian temple". Yuquan is located in qinglian temple at the entrance of Wu Qingzhi in Xiangu Mountain, West Lake. Now it is located in Hangzhou Botanical Garden, which is a good place to watch fish in the West Lake. It is a rectangular spring pool, about13m long, about10m wide and about 3m deep. In Chi Pan, there is a plaque inscribed by the famous calligrapher Dong Qichang, "Land of Fish and Music".
