Chen, a native of Weifang, was born in 19 16. Member of China Calligraphers Association, member of China Senior Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, former vice chairman of Weifang Calligraphy Association. I loved calligraphy since I was a child, and I studied Liu, Ou and Yan successively under the guidance of my parents. A little longer, I studied with Guo Enyan, a calligrapher from Weicheng, and learned the lower case of Le Yi Lun. Later, he studied under imperial academy scholar Chen Feisheng, and his calligraphy improved greatly. After the age of 20, he spent three years copying the half draft of Zhang Qiyuan, a famous literary expert in Anqiu, Shandong Province in the early Qing Dynasty, so his works have a deep foundation. Later, he learned to use cursive script, Wei script and official script, and in his later years, he learned the book list Taishan Stone Valley.
