Kang comes from two main ancestors.
There are several sources of Kang's surname, of which two are the most important: one is after his younger brother Kang Shu, and the other is from the comfortable country in the western regions where the Han Dynasty surrendered to China. That is to say, among the Kang surnames of later generations, some are descendants of the Han nationality named Ji, and some are descendants of other nationalities.
Zhou Wuwang is the same mother and brother.
Kang surname of Han nationality appeared about 3000 years ago. Their ancestor, Kang Shu, was Zhou Wuwang's mother and brother. King Wu won the world, and was named feudal. It was left intact in Kangguo, hence the name Kang Shu. After Zhou Wuwang's death, the young man became the heir to the throne, and Zhou Gongdan assisted him. Wu Geng, a descendant of Yin and Zhou Dynasties, thought there was a chance, so he rebelled and wanted to take back the land that originally belonged to them. Fortunately, it was tied by Duke Zhou. Zhou Gongdan's final decision was to hand over these adherents of Shang Dynasty to Kang Shu, who had a good reputation at that time, to rule and change Kang Shu to Wei Jun, with a higher status than before. Later, Kang Shu lived up to the expectations of the Duke of Zhou, persuaded the Yin people who were eager to move in the past, reached the state of "turning enemies into friends" and made contributions to the Zhou Dynasty. Therefore, Kang Shu became more and more famous. When he grew up in Zhou Chengwang, he was promoted to shepherd, ranking higher than other governors.
In the eyes of scholars who have always studied surnames, the origin of Kang surname in later generations is regarded as "beyond doubt", so all ancient books have only one description of the origin of Kang surname in Han nationality. Such as Compilation of Surnames and Surnames Garden, all pointed out with one voice that "Wei Kangshu takes history as his surname", indicating that Kang's surname originated from Kang Shu, a famous person in the early Zhou Dynasty.
After Kang Shu accepted the adherents of the Shang Dynasty, he was sealed in the state of Wei. At that time, Weiguo was in the east of Henan Province and the southwest of Hebei Province, with a vast territory. After Kang Shu came to China, his capital was originally in Chao Ge, which is in the northeast of Qixian County. Therefore, the Kang surname of later generations should have grown up here at the earliest. Later, when it was spread to Wei Wengong, it moved the capital to Chuqiu (now East of Huaxian County); Wei Chenggong moved to Diqiu again, but he has crossed the Yellow River and reached Zhuan Xu City in the southwest of Puyang County, Hebei Province. From the above-mentioned multiple moves to the capital, it is not difficult to see that Kang's early broadcast and early move.
During the long Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, although Wei did not dominate the whole country, compared with other governors, his life span was extremely long, and he was not destroyed until Qin Ershi. During this period, Kang Shu's descendants have multiplied into several surnames. In addition to the surname Kang, there is also the surname Wei, with the country as the surname, and even a common surname, that is, "Weimin is not correct, so there are many names of the Kang brothers."
The emergence of the second branch of the Kang family was based on the record in Liang's Propaganda, which pointed out: "Han was the minister of the western regions, and Kang ju sent his heirs to Hexi. Because he stayed, he later saw Jingzhao, Dongping and Huiji. " In other words, this Kang family from the Western Regions appeared about 265,438+000 years ago, when the great man's voice spread far and wide. At that time, comfortable countries in the western regions all sent their own princes to China to show their sincerity in submitting to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. After the prince arrived, he settled in Hexi as a imperial edict, and later he settled in Hexi, where his descendants will reproduce from generation to generation. Over time, he gradually became a part of the Chinese nation, no different from the Han nationality. Hexi, where Prince Kangju settled, refers to Shaanxi, Gansu and other places west of the Yellow River. In other words, this foreign Kang family mainly breeds in the northwest of China.
About a comfortable country to live in.
As for this comfortable country, according to "History of the Western Regions", it is recorded as "going to Chang 'an for 22,000 miles". They belong to the same species as the big moon family at that time. In the early years of the Han Dynasty, the country was quite prosperous, and they owned land in northern Xinjiang and Central Asia in Soviet Russia. When the rulers arrived, they were still very obedient to China, and once sent envoys to North Korea. In the Tang Dynasty, this country still existed and was called Guo Kang. Therefore, Kang originated in Kangju country. Although it is not Han nationality, it still has a long history and is worthy of pride.
