Why did Bing Xin's great calligrapher stare at the Spring Festival couplets for the third time?
Because couplets are always stolen. According to relevant records, one year during the Spring Festival, the great calligrapher wrote such a pair of Spring Festival couplets: spring breeze, spring rain, spring scenery, New Year and New Year. Then I got up the next day and the Spring Festival couplets disappeared. Then I wrote a new pair of Spring Festival couplets: Ti Ying Beili, the southern suburb of Yu Yan. Unexpectedly, it was not long before it was posted on the door, and it was secretly revealed by some enthusiasts. Finally, I thought for a long time and wrote a pair: happiness doesn't come twice, but it never rains but it pours. This pair of couplets, left a mind's eye, literally, people who know a little bit about pen and ink know that this is unlucky. Sure enough, nothing happened all night. Then, after the original writing, after the "double whammy", the words "today" and "last night's trip" were added. In this way, the couplet becomes "happiness never comes in pairs, but it never rains alone." The original unlucky meaning disappeared and was replaced by full good luck.
