China Painting and Calligraphy Association is a professional social organization with legal personality. Since the establishment of 1987, it has developed more than 10,000 members. At the end of 2002, the association was approved by the Shanghai General Administration of Culture, Radio, Film and Television and reported to the Ministry of Culture for approval and filing, becoming the first organizer of calligraphy and painting examination in Shanghai (see the announcement of Wen Wei Po on June 65438+ 10/day, 2003 for details). Existing members are about 1800. Since 2003, according to the relevant provisions of the "Measures for the Administration of Social Art Level Examination" promulgated by the Ministry of Culture, calligraphy and painting examination activities have been carried out in this city according to law.
Introduction of Shanghai Calligraphers Association: Shanghai Calligraphers Association is a professional mass organization composed of Shanghai calligraphers voluntarily, which was established in April of 196 1. Adhering to the purpose of communication, coordination and service, Shanghai Calligraphers Association holds various calligraphy exhibitions to build a platform for calligraphy art creation and exchange.
