Dongyi Oracle Bone Inscriptions

Dongyi people created China Oracle Bone Inscriptions?

Ding Zaixian has a soft spot for literature research materials. When he came into contact with Professor Fengjun Liu's research on Oracle Bone Inscriptions, he became interested in the images and patterns in Oracle Bone Inscriptions. Ding Zaixian not only deciphered nearly 100 hieroglyphs with his years' research knowledge of calligraphy art, but also boldly put forward his own opinions: Shandong is the birthplace of Dongyi culture, and Dongyi people first created Oracle Bone Inscriptions: it is probably the source of China characters! Scholars' archaeological research found that before Oracle Bone Inscriptions was discovered in Anyang, there were Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Changle, Shouguang, Huantai, Zhangqiu, Zouping, Zibo, Qingzhou and Zhucheng (there were also many discoveries in Chifeng and Guanzhong in Inner Mongolia). Before the bone carving, it was a pottery carving found in Juxian County, Shandong Province. Rock paintings are also the most accessible natural carrier of the ancients, which can express a complete meaning abstractly and can be preserved for a long time. Shandong is the activity center of Dongyi people, and there are bone carvings, pottery carvings and rock paintings everywhere. Professor Fengjun Liu of Shandong University, based on his research on animal bones engraved with graphic symbols, thinks that this is the early script of China from 4600 to 3300 years ago, which should have been produced and popular during the Longshan culture period, and its late stage was used alternately with the early stage of Oracle Bone Inscriptions formation. Therefore, it was named "Bone Carving", which was earlier than Anyang Oracle Bone Inscriptions 1000 years ago. Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Dongyi is the source of Chinese characters.

Shandong is the center of Dongyi culture and the hometown of Tai Hao, Huangdi, Chiyou and Yaoshun, the ancestor of mankind and leader of Dongyi. There are records of characters created by Shouguang and Cang Xie in Shandong in history. The discovery of Oracle Bone Inscriptions, which reflects the clues of the activities of the ancestors in the hometown of human ancestors, provides a rare and real material for studying the history of the transition from Dawenkou culture to Longshan culture, for studying the development history of Chinese characters and for exploring the origin of ancient calligraphy art in China. Because hieroglyphics are the first method to create Chinese characters, and hieroglyphics originated from the description of things' images, Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Dongyi is in the historical stage of transition from image description to text symbols, and it is also the initial stage of the formation of Chinese pictographs. Based on this, the author boldly infers that the inscriptions on Dongyi Oracle bones are the source of Chinese characters.
