Brief introduction of Wei Tianchi

Wei Tianchi (1936.4-) is a native of Dangshan County, Anhui Province. Party member, a middle school student, graduated from Chinese Department of Nanjing Normal University in July, 1960. 1960 has been teaching calligraphy in the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing Normal University (now Nanjing Normal University) since September, and was promoted to be a professor of calligraphy in April. 1986. He used to be the distinguished professor of Calligraphy in the Japanese Ministry of Education 1986, and taught in the Calligraphy Department of Aichi National University of Education. 1985 so far, he has served as a tutor for master's calligraphy graduate students and a tutor for Japanese calligraphy students. I studied under Mr. Shen Zishan and Mr. Lin Sanzhi. Calligraphy studies seal script, official script, cursive script, calligraphy, especially good at calligraphy. Calligraphy style is vigorous, elegant and unique. His works have participated in many national book fairs and foreign exchange exhibitions. Now he is the consultant of China Calligraphers Association and the chairman of Jiangsu Calligraphers Association.
