How did Lishu win the prize?

For modern society, calligraphy cannot be recognized by the public. Now many of our so-called masters, so-called masters, masters are often blown out and hyped by some news media. Some people in the China press have artificially established many masters, masters and authorities. ...

Chinese characters from Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Jinwen, Shi Guwen, Dazhuan, Xiaozhuan, Lishu, regular script, running script to cursive script, every font change is accompanied by the strengthening process of artistic beauty.

Since ancient times, I am afraid that no nation in the world has regarded writing Chinese characters as the highest artistic creation like the Chinese nation. China's calligraphy is a comprehensive visual art with concreteness, imagination and abstraction. According to the explanation of Ci Hai, "Calligraphy refers to the method of writing with a brush." A brush is a wonderful tool. For thousands of years, many painters and painters have used it to play its role, but no one dares to say that they have exhausted the function of the brush. Brush is both rigid and flexible, and its water absorption is different, so the effect is different when it is used on different rice paper. The change of the strength and speed of the same pen makes China's lines enter a mysterious field. Therefore, China's line art is a unique flower in the world art palace. So some people say that when they see a good word, they will gasp in air and be shocked. China's calligraphy formed by weak lines is untenable without momentum. A good calligraphy gives us a sense of beauty, which is both shocking and sublime, breathtaking and harmonious, and Wang Yang's unrestrained freedom. It is a combination of sublimity, harmony and freedom. It has both flavor and charm, giving people a gentle, sincere, steady, peaceful, indifferent and meaningful feeling.

There have been hundreds of famous calligraphers in the history of our country, such as Wang Xizhi, Yan Zhenqing, Su Dongpo, Zhu Yunming, Deng, Li Si, Yu Shinan, Chu Suiliang, Liu Gongquan, Zhang Xu, Huai Su, Wen and Mi. There are Sha Menghai, Guo Moruo and Shen in modern times. There are tens of thousands of people calling themselves calligraphers in China today, which can be said to be a mighty army of calligraphers. But how many real calligraphers can you find in this army?

There are many people known as "masters" and "masters", but is the artistic level of their calligraphy commensurate with their titles? As the highest academic institution of calligraphy art in China, what is the level of calligraphy art of the person in charge?

"Master" hats are flying all over the sky.

Nowadays, there are a large number of talented people in calligraphy, especially among teenagers, and a large number of promising young calligraphers have emerged. On the contrary, some famous calligraphers can only rely on the old to sell the old, and some even have a big gap.

For example, Mr. XX, who is known as the master of calligraphy, is highly respected, his character is well-known, and he has made great achievements in the academic field. I have great respect for Mr. XX. Character learning is one thing, and artistic criticism is another. It's just that I dare not compliment his most famous calligraphy.

Now, in the streets of Beijing and other provinces and cities, on the cover of publications, his inscriptions can be seen almost everywhere. It is said that it will be a pity that an enterprise, a trading company and a large-scale activity can't ask him to sign, but the price is not low.

On one occasion, a few friends and I faced the striking Chinese characters "China Poly Group" on the towering Poly Building at the intersection of East 40th Road, and I said, "For example, what do you think of these words? I don't know. These words are loose in terms of their overall structure. From the perspective of pens, vertical pens are straight and parallel, which is a taboo of calligraphy. You can't see the internal changes, let alone the momentum. " Calligraphers Li, Li and Zheng Jiukang all feel the same way. They said to me, "Miss Li, if you don't say it, we are really embarrassed to say that we ordinary people dare to comment on such a famous calligraphy authority?" But for a long time, we also feel the same way about Mr. XX's calligraphy. His calligraphy is now highly praised and has reached the level of absolute authority. But in our opinion, his calligraphy is very general, it should be said that it is a bit bookish. If it weren't for his age and belonging to the Manchu royal family, he should never be so lofty. It should not be a model for teenagers to learn calligraphy. "

If the word "China Poly Group" is used as a signboard, it is difficult to reflect the level of ××, but a large number of copybooks, inscriptions and words published give people the same overall impression. In his calligraphy, I can't see Sha Menghai's elegant, magnificent and vigorous calligraphy, nor can I see Mr. Guo Moruo's bold, unrestrained and detached calligraphy. I only see his delicacy, kitsch, unmanly, and no smell of Mr. Shen Peng's stone.

Xxxx, an old calligrapher who is said to have brought many apprentices and students, calls himself a "master". His calligraphy is just so-so, and he is a little famous. As for the level, it is far from pleasing, but he may not think so himself. Recently, when I arrived in Lanzhou, I was short of 10 thousand yuan for a photo. It is said that there are additional conditions. He has to write at least 20 articles, each with a limited number of words. Unfortunately, people don't sell accounts, so they didn't let him write them.

There is a Wang Xx in Beijing who calls himself a calligrapher. He's even funnier. Once he went to a certain place and was not satisfied with giving him a suite. He wanted to live in the presidential suite and said, "Wherever I go, people set aside a floor for me to live in and send guards to stand guard. I am a national treasure. Can you be responsible for something? " Full of nonsense. Many magazines and newspapers also introduced his calligraphy in detail. However, I consulted many appreciation experts and shook my head. It is said that this "calligrapher" was even hired as a visiting professor of calligraphy by a famous university. Such a professor is worthless and will certainly mislead others' children.

From this I think that many of our so-called masters, so-called masters and masters, are often blown out by people and hyped by some news media. Some people in the press in China have artificially established many masters, masters and authorities ... and once these people are pushed to the throne of masters and authorities, they seem to feel at ease and really feel great. As far as I know, XXX is not a "master" with a clear conscience. He often says modestly that the handwriting of the person who made his fake words is better than his. In other words, he is better than this master. It can be seen that the fault lies not in Mr. XX, but in some reporters and critics who talk nonsense.

Nowadays, painters and painters pay people to write articles to flatter themselves, and many people pay people to ask newspapers, television and other media to publish articles to flatter themselves. It is beyond reproach that painters and painters all want to be famous. I hope that the more truly famous calligraphers in China, the better; Newspapers and TV stations can also charge a certain fee according to regulations. The problem now is that some painters and painters have fabricated their own stories, and some journalists and writers have embellished them and sensationalized them. The published articles are so far from the facts that some of them are almost impossible. I didn't write for two days, and my handwriting was not very good. I was unknown, but I was crowned as a famous calligrapher. Now is the time when famous painters and painters are everywhere in the news media. The word famous is so worthless, what's the point! ?

Many people even have the title of king and master. There are so many princes and princes in China! Birds of a feather flock together! But there are too few people with real talent and learning! I can't help feeling sad about it.

I once asked several calligraphers and connoisseurs to point out to me some talented and knowledgeable calligraphers and painters who are quite knowledgeable today. You are almost tongue-tied. Beijing, in particular, is the least favored, with many famous and real talents and skills.

Beijing is the political, economic and cultural center of the Chinese nation, and the news media also affects the whole body. Of course, it is much easier to be famous than other provinces. Some so-called "famous" calligraphers in Beijing should be self-aware. You should work hard, don't be vulgar, and don't be confused by some illusions, not because you are "famous", but because you are the head of the book association, and people will really sell you. If you want to be a real calligrapher, you must be calm and clear-headed.

Of course, among calligraphers and calligraphy lovers, there are also many people with noble character. They study hard and strive for perfection in art, which is admirable. However, we hope that there will be more real calligraphers, even great calligraphers such as Xi Zhi, Huai Su, Mi Fei and Deng. However, to become famous and become a family in calligraphy is not something that can be pursued subjectively without the actual level of calligraphy, and it is not something that can be made out of nothing, relying on profit, pulling relationships, relying on people and so on. Without practical level, it is not good to pursue fame and fortune improperly, which will inevitably affect the improvement of calligraphy art level. Even if you cheat the reputation of "calligrapher" or even "master" for a while, it will only be a "false name" and a "floating name", and in the end it will only end up being laughed at.

I suggest that the news media use the word "famous" as little as possible.

It is not prudent to publish the words of people who wear "their jobs"

1994, at a calligraphy seminar, the old writer Li? Comrade once said: "The calligraphy works published now are also very good, but we should be careful when publishing the words of people who wear rice bowls." We must first measure them from calligraphy. "

Comrade Tang Dacheng, a writer, put it more clearly: "China's calligraphy does not mean that the greater the power, the better the calligraphy, the higher the status and the better the calligraphy. I suggest that China Calligraphy, as an authoritative magazine, should be cautious in publishing its works, especially those of some leaders. Otherwise, it is not good for anyone. "

But in recent years, Li? The phenomenon warned by Comrade Tang Dacheng has not only not disappeared, but also has a growing trend. Although there are many real scholars and even calligraphy masters who have their own jobs, some people wear their own jobs. Originally, their calligraphy was not good, but they didn't have much self-knowledge. They always like to write down their so-called "calligraphy" in various word albums, plaques and newspapers. Someone even started his so-called calligraphy seminar and published his so-called calligraphy album. People with black veil can respect you very much, and it is understandable to sign off occasionally, but if you don't bite off more than you can chew, it will inevitably lead to private discussions.

In fact, many of our leading comrades can write very beautiful calligraphy, and some of them are examples of calligraphy; However, if your "calligraphy" is not rudimentary at all, or even has "typos", it will not only affect the appearance of the city, but also affect the spiritual civilization and the artistic taste of newspapers, magazines, paintings and calligraphy, which is also misleading to children.

Calligraphy plaque is an art, so should the collection of calligraphy and painting. China's calligraphy is a comprehensive visual art, which is concrete, imaginative and abstract. We often say that books are like people, and words are like people. Liu Xizai in Qing Dynasty said: "Books are like learning, books are like talent, books are like ambition, in short, books are like people." It shows that calligraphy is an art with a strong sense of human beauty and self-expression, which is inextricably linked with a person's personality and writing style. Because you are a leader and influential, you have also played a role in setting an example and educating people. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to ask everyone to be cautious when publishing their own calligraphy or calligraphy in public. Please also make some contributions to the spiritual civilization of the society and the serious calligraphy and painting of the Chinese nation.

Of course, there are also some people who wear rice bowls, and they are not careful, and sometimes it is not entirely his fault.

Nowadays, many people who call themselves painters and calligraphers like to ask leaders for inscriptions and inscriptions in picture books, and attach a large number of photos with leaders and celebrities. Some photos even account for one-third or more of the collection of calligraphy and painting, while others wear jobs that have nothing to do with calligraphy. It really became "graffiti"

Are these painters out of respect for their leaders, in order to raise their status, or have ulterior motives? I don't know, but it gives me the feeling that this painter is a bit "vulgar!" This practice can only play a self-deprecating role.

Some people even call themselves painters and calligraphers. When interviewed by reporters, they like to write a long paragraph about the evaluation of their works by a leader. A leader shook hands with him and asked him to draw, write and so on. This shows that when a leader is full of praise for his works, his value will naturally be a hundred times. In fact, leadership is not everything. Leaders may not have the most basic ability to appreciate calligraphy and painting, which is also misleading to those who don't know the truth. Moreover, if this wind lasts for a long time, the consequences will be unimaginable. In fact, it seems that this wind is spreading now.

Of course, a really serious artist will never, and will never, improve his level in this way.

It is not serious and unreliable to improve one's social status by the praise and comments of leaders. If the leader is an expert in calligraphy, his comments may still contain gold. What's the use if he is a complete layman?

There used to be a famous painter and calligrapher, and everyone laughed at him for relying on bureaucrats and profiteers. As a result, he was finally left out in the cold today, and few people of insight were willing to associate with him.

An artist of noble character can only be famous for his works, not in this way. Besides, there are too many painters and painters who play this trick now, and it has become very vulgar, and people don't buy it. I suggest that artists should listen to the different opinions and criticisms of really serious art critics. Unfortunately, China's artistic criticism has not yet reached the level of academic criticism. On the one hand, most artists are unwilling to listen to public criticism, but only willing to listen to good words. But the starting point of most critics is too subjective, too polite, too sensitive, and even flatters everyone casually, lacking academic criticism and discussion of art itself. The misleading of art critics has increased the confusion of ordinary people in commenting on the merits of calligraphy, and also increased the confusion of the calligraphy and painting market.

The chaotic environment has polluted the hearts of some calligraphers. Compared with previous years, the phenomenon of "relying on bureaucrats and profiteers" has become more and more serious. People call this practice pulling tiger skin as a banner. I call it the philistine wind, which suffocates the environment of calligraphy and painting art.

Corruption is rampant.

Calligraphy is not and cannot exist without society. In today's society, the wind of corruption is everywhere, and bribery bends the law and does everything. Money worship is very popular. It is impossible for the calligraphy world not to be influenced by it. Some people regard the art of calligraphy as a stepping stone to pursue personal fame and power, and steal the honor of "calligrapher" by such despicable means as lying, cheating, treating guests, giving gifts, networking, backdoor, opportunism and even pornography. Attacking others to raise themselves, especially in some places, calligraphy circles and leadership, the phenomenon of cliques is very serious.

What's more, calligraphers' associations in some places, like artists' associations, are dominated by people who have no real talent, talent and morality. They adopt the policy of "opening a shop in Wu Dalang", and the "boss" has a rule that no one taller than me can enter the door. Some people with money, power and connections are drawn into the association, while some people who are really talented and knowledgeable in calligraphy, but have nothing to do with them and refuse to bow their heads, are hard to get in. They turned a mass semi-official art institution into a yamen managed by a few of them. In fact, many calligraphers with real ambition and integrity will not take this kind of yamen seriously.

Some people regard the Calligraphers Association as a "nursing home" for officials. It is said that a leader likes calligraphy a little, but his calligraphy has not really started. A few days ago, a calligraphy seminar was held, probably to create public opinion for him to resign and compete for the leadership of the book association.

Although the Calligraphers Association is a clear water yamen, once you become the chairman and vice chairman of the Calligraphers Association, your calligraphy will probably be worth a hundred times in the market hype. Some calligraphers who used to be mediocre at painting and calligraphy struggle for money every day just because they have such a title. Of course, this is legal, because one is willing to buy and the other is willing to sell. No wonder many people are watching the throne of the chairman and vice-chairman of the Calligraphy Association. Some "calligraphers" are furious and seriously ill for this throne, and some publicly declare that "according to my level, I will do my part", but everyone scoffs at the actual level.

Like other fields at present, there are many problems in all kinds of so-called exhibitions, activities and awards in calligraphy. To put it bluntly, corruption is also prevalent.

I also served as a judge of the grand exhibition. Before the award ceremony officially started, someone came to say hello. Xx works can win prizes, but XX works can't win prizes.

I also heard that some first prizes and second prizes were bought with money. Whoever gives more money, or who has a special relationship with a person in charge, will be given the first prize, or even the grand prize. Some judges have become puppets and completely become the tools of the jury. Moreover, the wind is getting stronger and stronger. At first, it was very rare. It seems to be increasing now. At this rate, what's the point of awarding prizes?

Now some awards can only deceive people who don't know the truth, or only scare foreigners.

In fact, winning or not is of little significance. Excuse me, some recognized great painters and painters in China, how many have won any prizes? Their works are still shining, and their names still win the respect of the whole country?

Li,,,, well said: "Award-winning can only bring honor, honor can not bring works. Excellent works still depend on the talent and perseverance of calligraphers. " (To be continued)
