Brief introduction of Zhang Tiesuo

Zhang Tiesuo, male, pen name Banli, Lao Tie. Born in July, 1953, a native of Quwo, Shanxi Province, bachelor degree, party member, a famous calligrapher. Member of China Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairman of Shanxi Calligraphers Association, and member of Editorial and Publishing Committee of China Calligraphers Association. I like calligraphy since I was a child. 1978 was admitted to the art department of Shanxi University with excellent results. I majored in painting in China, during which I studied under the famous China painters Zhao, Yao Dianzhong, Wang Shaozun, Liu Geshan, Yang Qiqun, Lin Peng and Deng. I am a disciple of Mr Yao Dianzhong. 1982 After graduating from Shanxi University, he stayed in school and worked as a lecturer and associate professor. He teaches calligraphy to the Fine Arts Department of Shandong University and students from the United States, Japan, France and other countries.
