The paper used for writing large characters is not easy to break, and the ink is thick, which can produce a lush and vigorous effect. However, the writer must have a profound penmanship. Single rice paper is easier to draw than a double pen, but the ink is extremely sensitive to bleeding, so lines must be prevented from floating.
