Characteristics of Scenic Spots in the Stone Carving Group of Xishi Moya

Xishi Cliff Stone Carving Group is located in the back mountain of Xiangzhou Shanchang Village, named Xishi. Halfway up the mountain, there is a stream flowing down the mountain stream. The stone carving group of Xishi Moya is an artistic masterpiece left by Bao Jun, a man and scholar in Shanchang County in Qing Dynasty, who imitated the preface of Lanting Collection "Singing the Wind and Singing the Moon". It is distributed in Xi Shi and its surrounding rugged rocks, and 32 places have been found. From 183 1 to 1879, they are all engraved in intaglio, mainly in running script, but also in regular script and official script, ranging from "Xi Shi" and "Xun" to a few centimeters square. On 1986, the stone carving group of Xishi Moya was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Zhuhai.

Because of the steep waterfalls and beautiful scenery, Xishi Cliff Stone Carvings Group has become a place where people look for fairyland, which is also a tourist attraction in Penglai.

Mi Fei, a famous calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty, came from afar and wrote ancient wall stones in cursive script, making Xi Shi famous all over the world. Xi Shi's original name was Watergate, and it was named after two big stones that looked like portals at Xi Shi Waterfall. Bao Jun, a calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty, carved two big characters on a boulder on the left side of the gate, and people called it here.

Climbing to the top of the cliff, the word "Kuangguan" is engraved on a boulder on the right side of Xishiyan, and there is a panoramic view of Xiangzhou District in the south, just like a jade plate in a distant mountain. At that time, celebrities gathered here, drinking and singing, writing poems to remember the past, leaving countless stone carvings. Because of its long history, there are only more than 30 existing ones. Most cliffs in Xi Shi are always interested in the environment, the appearance of stones, such as Maolin bamboo, firewood trail and other tourists, such as calligraphy exhibition hall, which is full of fun.
