The original temple in Liang Hongyu was attached to the Fire Temple in Beichenfang, which was built many times in Ming and Qing Dynasties. 1959, the people's government of Huai 'an County rebuilt the temple in its original site, which was demolished during the Cultural Revolution, and 1982 was rebuilt. The newly-built Liang Hongyu Temple is 19.56 meters long from east to west and 30.53 meters wide from north to south, covering an area of 597. 17 square meters. There is a fence around the yard, and the gate faces south. On the door, there are four characters "Liang Hongyu Temple" inscribed by Xiao Xian, a famous calligrapher who died in China. The yard is full of pines and cypresses. There are three fine halls on the north side of the courtyard, with a length of10.5m from east to west and a width of 7m from north to south, with a building area of 73.5m.. The whole building is antique, imitating Ming Dynasty architecture. There is a 1.7-meter-high statue of Liang Hongyu armored sword on the altar in the temple, which is elegant and full of energy. On both sides of the statue are couplets inscribed by contemporary calligrapher Yang Xiupin, "It is also a red makeup and green sleeves, but it is a historical heart."
