-Brief introduction to the calligraphy art of "Nangong stele"
Calligraphy is a unique culture and art in China. Known as one of the "three treasures" at home and abroad (Chinese medicine, Beijing opera and calligraphy), it is the main carrier of inheriting Chinese culture. It gives people beautiful enjoyment with undulating, elegant, rigid and flexible lines and stippling. This is a great visual art that our ancestors dedicated to the people of the world.
A large number of accomplished calligraphers emerged in the Qing Dynasty, such as Deng, Bao, Kang Youwei, Zhao, Weng Tonghe, Wu Changshuo and Zheng. Among them, Mr. Zhang Yuzhao, a scholar of Tongcheng School, has the highest achievement and unique style. Zhang Yuzhao is one of the eight masters of ancient prose of Tongcheng School in Qing Dynasty, one of the four disciples of Zeng Guofan, and a famous calligraphy artist. He wrote more than 65,438+065,438+00 poems, including Lotus Pavilion Collection and Lotus Pavilion Poetry. Zhang is not only good at writing, but also good at writing. At the age of 64, he wrote the book Xue Ji Monument in Nangong County, which was called Nangong Monument by the world. This monument is now hidden in the courtyard of Nangong Middle School in Hebei Province, and has a "Xuebei Pavilion" to protect it, which is a key cultural relic in Hebei Province. Nangong County Monument is a masterpiece of calligraphy in his later years, which fully embodies the mature artistic style of Zhang's calligraphy and has high artistic value. Its tablets are widely circulated at home and abroad. Therefore, later generations often refer to Zhang's calligraphy as "Nangong Monument". Kang Youwei, a famous Confucian scholar in the late Qing Dynasty, praised Zhang Yuzhao's calligraphy, calling it "a monument to the north and the south", while Deng Wanbo, Bao Shenbo and Zhang Lianqing regarded books as eternal heroes. There are four books in this dynasty, all of which are modeled after ancient times. The collection is divided into three parts, namely, Tingzhou, Li Shu, Deng Wanbo, Liu Shian and Zhang Lianqing. Zhang Taiyan also praised Zhang's calligraphy and regarded it as the treasure of his calligraphy hall in China: "Mr. Wang's calligraphy is a treasure handed down from generation to generation, really like a pearl, especially when he is with others."
Zhang Yuzhao's "Nangong Monument Style" is based on the study of Wei Bei, integrating the strengths of various schools, taking seal script as a whole, bringing forth the new and creating the original. The outstanding feature is to change the flat and wide Shu Wei into a narrow-footed, Shu Wei brushwork, Tang Kai structure, an outer circle and an inner circle, which are dense on the top and sparse on the bottom, tight on the outside and loose on the outside, so as to meet the needs of both sides.
Nangong tablet has famous disciples of the second generation Zhang Gong, such as Wang Xisan, Jizhou Hu and Nangong Yao. Yao, the son of the third generation Yao, was a celebrity in Nangong book circle in the 1920s and 1930s, and was the leader of Shangshu. Dong, the younger brother of the fourth generation Yao, founded the National Calligraphy Association and served as its president. His works are not only distributed in places of interest and shops along the street in Nangong, but also widely collected by politicians, businessmen, artists and other celebrities at home and abroad, and some of his works are also engraved in many places of interest in China. He pushed Nangong Monument to all parts of the country for the second time, which caused a sensation in the book world.
Zhang Yuzhao's original Nangong Monument not only occupies a very important position in the history of China calligraphy, but also enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad. Since 1930s, the rubbings of Nangong Monument have been popular all over the country and even overseas. Calligraphers and collectors in Beijing and Shanghai are scrambling to learn and collect them and regard them as treasures. Especially in Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia, due to the spread of Zhang Yuzhao's personal disciple and the famous Japanese calligrapher Mr. Miyajima Nobuo, Nangong Monument is even more famous. Zhang Yuzhao Calligraphy Research Association was established, and several delegations made a special trip to Nangong to pay tribute to the "Nangong Monument". The first international Zhang Yuzhao Calligraphy Seminar was held in Nangong. It has made great contributions to the overseas promotion of Nangong Monument and the spread of China culture.
At present, there are calligraphers such as Nangong Dong, Zhang,,, Cangzhou Rentian, Beijing Zhang Shufan, Shijiazhuang Xiong Jiquan, Handan Wang Letong, Li Shoucheng, Chaihe Xu Landi, Xi 'an Wang Naicheng, and a large number of Japanese calligraphers such as Bunyan, Ito and Tanaka are active in today's calligraphy world.
