At the age of five, Li Duo began to learn calligraphy, including Preface to Lanting and Preface to Saint Education, and later classic calligraphy posts from the official seal of Qin and Han Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. His calligraphy works see beauty in simplicity and cleverness in modesty. They created Gu Zhuo's unique style, dignified, vigorous, beautiful, generous and fluent. They occupy an important position in contemporary calligraphy and are deeply loved by the majority of calligraphy lovers.
Li Duo not only made great achievements in calligraphy creation, but also made considerable achievements in the study of calligraphy theory. He published Li Duo's essays such as Book and Judgment, and summarized his understanding and writing skills of calligraphy aesthetics.

Li Duo, 1930 was born in Xinyang Township, Liling City, Hunan Province in April. /kloc-0 joined the army in September 1949, and/kloc-0 joined the party in March 1953. He has been a researcher in China People's Revolutionary Military Museum, vice chairman of the 3rd China Calligraphers Association, consultant of the 4th, 5th and 6th China Calligraphers Association, member of the 9th China People's Political Consultative Conference, member of the 6th All-China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and honorary member of the 9th China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. He has won the China Calligraphy Art Special Contribution Award and the China Calligraphy Lanting Award for Lifetime Achievement Award, and enjoys special government allowance.
