Liu Luoguo's original name was Liu Yong
Liu Yong (1719-1805), also known as Chongru, also known as Shi'an, Qingyuan, Riguanfeng Taoist, etc. A native of Zhucheng, Shandong. He was an important politician during the Qianjia period of the Qing Dynasty. Liu Luoguo was a nickname given to him by later generations, but this may not be true. Zhang Weiping, a native of the Qing Dynasty, said in "Songxuan Essays":
Liu Wenqing came to the Qing Dynasty from Zhao Songxue at the beginning. After middle age, he started his own family. He has a strong appearance and a strong taste. He is not favored by the ancients and is aloof. Stand alone.
The realm of Liu Yong's calligraphy can be summarized in three words: "quiet", "light" and "clear". This is where he surpasses ordinary people. He is known as the "Prime Minister with thick ink".
Liu Yong’s calligraphy first came from Zhao Mengfu, followed the Wei and Jin Dynasties, studied Zhong Yao, and also used calligraphy from Yan Zhenqing, Su Shi and other calligraphers. After middle age, he is not caged by the ancients. He has a strong appearance and a rich taste. , aloof and unique, a family of his own, famous in time.
Looking at his storytelling in the Regular Script Volume of Yan Han's Biography, the Small Regular Volume Volume of Preface to the Provincial Examination Records, and the Volume of Wuchang Nostalgic Poems, the structure was seriously affected by the prevailing trends, and it seems that he intentionally wrote it as Ruozhu Yunming's Pu Mao , and imitated the freshness of Wen Zhengming, and couldn't bear to give up the ancient spirit of Zhong Yao. In the end, I only tasted everything, only the thick ink was left. Looking through Liu Yong's ancient calligraphy calligraphy in small regular script, it can be seen that he has covered a wide range of works, but they are all general works. For example, "Long Live Tongtian Calligraphy and Other Fans", "For the Tiebao Book", and "Lin Jin and Tang Miscellaneous Calligraphy Volume" should all be made according to the occasion, and they like to write several calligraphy styles and calligraphy styles on one paper. , it seems to be showing off.
Duckweed Opera believes that people in Shi'an are quite self-loving, but that is not a bad thing. Yang Xiong of the Han Dynasty who said "Books are paintings from the heart" in "Fayan·Volume 12" "The Gentleman" says:
One must love oneself, and then others will love others; one must respect oneself, and then others will respect others. Self-love is the ultimate benevolence. Self-respect is the ultimate courtesy. There is no one who does not love and respect himself but others love and respect him.
Yang Xiong's words originally came from Xunzi, "Xunzi·Zidao 29":
Zilu came in, and Zilu said: "Yu, who is the wise? What is the benevolent?" Zilu He said to him: "The wise make others know themselves, the benevolent make others love themselves." Confucius said: "You can be called a scholar." Zigong came in, and Confucius said: "Given, what is a wise man like? What is a benevolent man like?" Zigong said to him: " A wise man understands others, and a benevolent man loves others. "The wise man is a gentleman." When Yan Yuan came in, he asked, "What is a wise man like?" Yan Yuan said to him, "A wise man knows himself, and a benevolent man loves himself." Said: "It can be said that he is a wise gentleman."
The Prime Minister of Nongmo can "love himself", he should be a "benevolent person", and he is also a "wise gentleman", so he can be a high official, but Liu Changqing's "Playing the Qin" poem is not It also reveals the helplessness of the "benevolent man":
On the seven strings of Lingling, listen quietly to the cold wind in the pines. Although the ancient tune is self-loving, many people today don’t play it.
To this day, there are only a few followers of Liu Yong’s method.
