How to judge the main strokes of a word in calligraphy

The method is as follows:

1. In horizontal painting, the long horizontal is suitable as the main pen. Example: "three" and "three" are not the main strokes, so write them short. The third stroke is the main stroke, so it should be longer.

2. In vertical painting, the hanging needle is a top-down stroke, which is often used as the main pen. For example, in the word "Zhong", the last vertical needle passes through the mouth, and the vertical needle should be written straight and long, highlighting the main pen.

3. In sketch, oblique and vertical strokes are also the main strokes. For example, if the left oblique stroke is the main stroke, write it longer.

4. In painting, the straight strokes are often the main strokes. For example, the word "Jian" is mainly flat pen. Highlight the flat strokes and write longer.
