The thousand-year-old jujube tree existing in Zhouyin Village is called Tang jujube in the world. Longyou branch stands in a large jujube forest, just like the birthday star full of children and grandchildren. It proves that Qingyun has a long history of planting jujube trees.
Jujube trees were planted in the late Sui Dynasty and early Tang Dynasty, with a history of 1600 years. They are known as the "kings of dates" and are listed in the China Dictionary of Places of Interest. Tangzao is located at 1 1.5 km northwest of Qingyun County, one mile northeast of Zhou Yin Village and adjacent to Zhang Weixin River in the north. According to legend, it was planted at the end of Sui Dynasty and the beginning of Tang Dynasty, and its green fruit and red fruit have benefited the world for more than a thousand years, which is really a treasure of the world. According to the data in the Collection of Essays on National Trees in the early 1980s, Tangzao is the most famous jujube tree in China, and it deserves it.
In addition, there are two groups of ancient jujube trees in Qingyun County, which were planted in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are nearly 10,000 strains in northwest China, including Deng's, Yao's, Fangzi, Cheng's and Bian Shi. On the other hand, in the area of Zhang Peiyuan Village in the east, ancient trees have been honed over the years, dried up and have different shapes. Up to now, they still sprout in spring, shade in summer, and harvest red fruits in autumn, especially in Yuan Ye, which is foggy with frost and snow, and is bare and dry, which can better show the glory of the elderly in the century. The local people have three names for the Tang jujube tree: one is the general tree; Second, some people call this tree Wagangshan General Chamber of Commerce; Third, because General McCullough once tied a horse here, it is also called McCullough tied a horse stake.
General mccullough has a soft spot for this tree. In the hot season, the war horse is happy to whistle for a long time when he sees the ancient trees enjoying the cool. In the mature season, you can pick baskets of red dates like red pearls. As we all know, General Luo Cheng was the founding general of the Tang Dynasty. When he passed Qingyun back and forth, the Tang Dynasty had not yet been established. The Sui Dynasty was founded on 58 1 and died on 6 18. It has been 139 1 year since the Sui Dynasty was overthrown, with a history of only 37 years. General mccullough wants to choose a tree that can cool himself and tie his horse. His horse is not an ordinary horse, but a short-tempered BMW pony that is loved by millions of soldiers. This ancient tree was at least 200 years old at that time. According to Lu Yuanpei, who was appointed as the magistrate of Qingyun County in the first year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, in a poem "Records of Qingyun County" in Xianfeng four years, he said: "Half an acre of clear shade overlooks Bichuan, and the vicissitudes of life have passed the sky. Countless branches have their own colors, preferring to leave the ice and snow. Gao Shi is arrogant in building a house, and the general sits on the ground and sends his generals. It is speculated that this ancient jujube tree was planted at least in Qi during the Southern and Northern Dynasties from 479 to 502 AD. Why is such an old jujube tree called Tangzao?
There is a story among Qingyun people, because General McCullough often tied his horse to rest under this tree. One year, he rested under an old jujube tree, which was around August 15th. The tree was full of fruits, and General mccullough was hungry, so he picked dates to satisfy his hunger. That jujube is sweeter than honey, and he has a great responsibility this time. General McCullough will represent Wagangzhai hero to meet Tang Guogong Li Yuan to discuss cooperation to overthrow the corrupt Sui Dynasty. The general came in a hurry without a gift. General Luo ate this sweet jujube, gave money to the owner of this tree, bought the red jujube on this tree as a gift, and went to see Tang Guogong Li Yuan. The owner of this tree said that he didn't want General Luo's money anyway, so he filled the general's commissary bag. General Luo thanked the villagers and hurried to Tang gaozu's camp day and night.
General Luo met Li Yuan and presented a red jujube gift. Li Yuan took it and asked, "What did General Luo offer?" Luo Cheng replied: "Back to the Tang Dynasty, it is a precious fructose jujube in the world." Tang gaozu nodded after eating a few, and then shared dates with Li Shimin and General McCullough among his generals. The generals led by Li Shimin said loudly with one voice: "It's so sweet, it's really sugar dates!" After this cooperation and consultation with jujube as the medium, the idea of overthrowing the Sui Dynasty was reached. And it was one victory after another, which soon overthrew the Sui Dynasty.
When I was discussing the country name used in the founding of the People's Republic with ministers, I went out to play: "My father wanted to use Tang as the country name for two reasons. First, my father was Tang Guogong, and second, General McCullough took sugar dates as the media, which enabled us to reach an understanding with the heroes of Wagangzhai. All the heroes in Wagangzhai surrendered to us except Dan Xiong Xin, who are loyal generals. General McCullough died to overthrow the Sui Dynasty, and we will live for several generations. Tang Gaozu was overjoyed: "Very reasonable. Play! "
The legend of Tang Dynasty and Qingyun ancient jujube has been passed down from generation to generation. Sugar jujube and sugar jujube have spread all over China and every corner of the earth.
It is also said that when Judy, the prince of the Ming Dynasty, swept across the north, many locals hid under the Tang jujube tree, and suddenly the fog filled everyone, so the locals also called the Tang jujube tree a sacred tree.
During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, the Japanese invaders carried out the "Three Lights" policy, and many jujube forests were destroyed. When the Japanese army tried to cut down the "sugar jujube" tree, the villagers gathered under the tree and risked their lives to protect each other. The lofty integrity of the Chinese nation made the enemy afraid to do something. 1979 Qingyun county people's government built fences and erected steel frames for protection. 10 years later, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was repaired, management measures were strengthened, and the stone side was established, which is the Tang Jujube Monument. The monument is made of Sushan granite in Jinan. It is two meters high and eighty centimeters wide. On the front of the commemorative medallion, Mr. Jiang Weisong, a professor at Shandong University and a famous calligrapher in China, wrote the words "Made in Tang Dynasty". Seal script is elegant, vigorous and beautiful, which is really a calligraphy treasure. The back is inscribed with 325 words by Professor Zong Weicheng of Shandong University of Arts. Although Zong Lao is 76 years old and has more than 300 kinds of regular script, he is neat, meticulous, straight, fresh and elegant, which is a rare calligraphy masterpiece. Trees and monuments stand side by side and complement each other, which will surely add luster to Qingyun, an ancient land.
In order to strengthen the protection of Tangzao, the "King of Jujube in China", Qingyun County built Tangzao Ecological Sightseeing Park on the basis of Tangzao. Tangzao Ecological Sightseeing Park is located in Zhouyin Village, Qingyun Town, covering an area of 1 10,000 mu. Zhang Weixin River in the north and Zhangma River in the east. It is an ecological sightseeing park featuring ten thousand ancient jujube trees. Besides Tang jujube, there are many ancient jujube trees in the sightseeing park, such as Mother and Son Tree, couple tree, hug tree, sister tree, high-yield tree and tree fairy. In addition, there are famous scenic spots, such as Zaowang Temple and the memorial archway of Tangzao Ecological Sightseeing Garden. There are lush old trees in the garden, gardens in the forest, and landscapes in the garden. In spring, there are green fields everywhere. In summer, jujube flowers are fragrant, and autumn is fruitful. The natural scenery in the four seasons is particularly pleasant.
In July 2008, Qingyun Tangzao Eco-tourism Park was rated as a provincial eco-tourism agricultural tourism demonstration site by Shandong Provincial Tourism Bureau.
