Ink has a long history of production. The sources of ink are Mount Tai, Kunming and Aquilaria Island. Early ink was made of bamboo charcoal, pine bark, chestnut shell and other materials. Paper originated in the Eastern Han Dynasty and has a long production process. The inkstone is made of words soaked in stone.
