Liu Zidu (19 14-200 1) was born in Sanyuan, Yu Youren's hometown, where there are many sages and extraordinary writing style. He is currently the executive director of China Calligraphers Association, the chairman of Shaanxi Calligraphers Association and the librarian of Shaanxi Literature and History Museum. Known as the leading calligrapher in northwest China, he studied epigraphy and calligraphy since he was a child, and discussed all poems, words, ancient books and closed-book documents one by one. It was he who donated the Three-body Stone Sutra and collected it in Xi 'an Forest of Steles. My four-body calligraphy is very good, especially seal script. Its seal script is vigorous and powerful from bronze inscriptions and stone drums, and harmonious and smooth from Xiao Zhuan and Deng Xing in Qin Dynasty. His writing has its own unique characteristics. He integrated the balance, symmetry, stability and straightness of the northern seal script of Yishan into the bronze seal script, and under the principle of balance and stability, he gave full play to the crooked and lively characteristics of the big seal script, thus completing the exquisite physical structure of his seal script. As Shen Peng and Gu Xi said in the Preface to Selected Calligraphy of Liu Zidu, "Liu Zidu established his position as a contemporary successful seal calligrapher through the mutual infiltration of three factors, and was known as' the first seal calligrapher in China'".
