Original poem:
Version 1
Lushan mountain is misty, rainy and tidal,
I don't want to hate to be a thousand years old.
Don't be idle when you get there.
Lushan mountain is misty and rainy, and Zhejiang tide.
Version 2
Lushan mountain is misty, rainy and tidal,
I don't want to hate to be a thousand years old.
Speaking of shooting at random,
Lushan mountain is misty and rainy, and Zhejiang tide.
Translation:
The beautiful and mysterious misty rain of Lushan Mountain and the magnificent tide of Qiantang River are worth seeing. It will be a lifelong regret to miss the misty rain of Lushan Mountain and the tide of Qiantang River. Finally, I went to Lushan and Zhejiang in person, and saw the misty rain and the tide, but I didn't feel anything special. I only think that Lushan misty rain is Lushan misty rain and Zhejiang tide is Zhejiang tide.
This is a calligraphy that Su Shi wrote to his youngest son Su when he was dying. Su Shi ended his long exile, from a generous man who was ambitious and dedicated to serving the country politically to an old man who calmly faced and understood the Zen machine of life.
There are many poems describing Lushan and Hangzhou when we turn to Su Shi's poetry collection, but the thoughts and feelings revealed in this poem "Watching the Tide" are very special and Zen.
As far as Su Shi's poems on Lushan Mountain are concerned, he wrote: "Looking horizontally, the mountain side becomes a peak, and the distance is different. I don't know the true face of Lushan Mountain, but toward which corner of the mountain. " He wrote the West Lake poem "The water is clear and the mountains are Kong Yu." If the West Lake is compared to the West Lake, it is always appropriate to go into battle lightly. The former is very interesting in philosophy, which shows that if you are trapped in it and can't jump out, you will often be confused by the phenomenon and can't see the truth of objective things. The latter is keen and profound in observing the scenery, such as just right. The poem "Watching the Tide" is also after experiencing the past life, seeing clearly the impulse that changes with the environment and other thoughts, instead of following the impulse.
Judging from the meaning of the poem, we can see that the poet has been fascinated by the scenery of Lushan Mountain and the tides of Qiantang River for a long time and often dreams about it. It seems that you can't experience Lushan Mountain, but you can also enjoy the wonders of misty rain. If we can't witness the tide of Qiantang River, we can see that it is Ma Benteng, and it will shake the mountains. I really failed this life and it's hard to let it go. But later, I climbed Lushan Mountain and became the secretariat of Hangzhou, enjoying the misty rain of Lushan Mountain and the annual Qiantang River tide. On the contrary, I think whether the objective scenery is rare or inconspicuous is only driven by my subjective consciousness. The gathering and scattering of misty rain and the coming and going of river tides seem to be less intense, but the wind is not tempted.
