From June 5, 2000 to 10, poly theatre was completely renovated. After the reconstruction, the theater has 1428 seats, including 108 movable seats in the orchestra pit. Poly theatre VIP room is elegant and solemn in design, surrounded by paintings by masters Zhang Daqian and Wu Guanzhong, calligraphy works by contemporary famous calligraphers Zeng and Cao, and many rare treasures such as bronzes are displayed.
Poly theatre's sound system and lighting system are world-renowned brands, which can meet the various performance needs of art groups. The stage mechanical system is controlled by computer. The main stage has six large double-deck electric lifting stages, and the back stage is equipped with a walking turntable. The boom system is unique, and manual and electric booms can be used alternately to meet various performance needs. Architectural acoustics is first-class. It can receive large-scale operas, symphonies, ballets, musicals and other performances.
