An overview of the content of college calligraphy appreciation

Like all art's dependence on technology, calligraphy is naturally inseparable from writing techniques. Calligraphy techniques mainly include brushwork, calligraphy, composition and pen and ink. This book uses one third of the space to explain the basic knowledge and skills of calligraphy techniques. Readers can try to understand the relevant chapters. What needs to be emphasized is that the careless "graffiti" that ignores the writing skills and the understanding that the calligraphy skills are "difficult to go to the sky" are biased. "From technology to art" and "from technology to Tao" are the roads to success that many calligraphers have proved in practice. However, the course of "from technology to art" and "from technology to Tao" is not smooth sailing. Like all arts, the connection between technology and Tao needs calligraphers' understanding. This kind of understanding can be an epiphany after long-term practice and study, or an epiphany suddenly felt by foreign objects. Through the analysis of many cases in the history of China's calligraphy, this book tries to make readers realize the epiphany and gradual enlightenment of calligraphers, realize the uniqueness of calligraphy as an art, and then make contributions to the inheritance of calligraphy art.
