Soong Ching Ling's former residence

In addition, there is a ancestral hall of Chun Xian Qin built behind the mansion, covering an area of about 8 mu. Especially the West Garden in the mansion has a long history. The former residence of the honorary president of China, Mr Soong Ching Ling, was built in the West Garden of Chunqin Wangfu. She worked and lived here for 18 years, leaving many traces and adding many bright colors to this antique garden.
During the reign of Kangxi, Pearl's mansion garden was located here. There are rockeries, bamboo forests and small bridges in the garden. There are seven trees in front of the south building, which are "blooming at night". Two of them are ancient trees more than 2 years ago, which are said to have been planted by Nalan Xingde, the eldest son of Pearl. The young Nalan Xingde often invites scholars and celebrities from Beijing to gather here to recite poems and write lyrics. Today, standing under a tree, he feels nostalgic, as if a figure is vaguely in front of him, and his ears seem to echo the sound of singing in those days, "Shuang Ye meets in front of the steps, and the branches and leaves are covered with Huarong." Later, Mingzhu was convicted, and this mansion garden was occupied by He Kun. After Jiaqing ascended the throne, the garden was given a prince together with the nearby mansion, and the seawater was chartered to enter the garden after the prince became a prince. The "Enbo Pavilion" we see now was built when we became a prince, and the word "Peace through the years" on the stone of peace came from the hand of a prince. During the reign of Guangxu, this mansion was given to Prince Chun, the biological father of Guangxu, who added, renovated and built the Prince Chun's Palace on the basis of his marriage.
Today, Chunqin Wangfu has become a scenic spot by the Shichahai Sea, and many tourists come here for their attachment to history and admiration for historical sites.

Guo Moruo Memorial Hall
About 3 meters north of Qiangan Hutong, No.18, Qianhai West Street, is where Guo Moruo, a famous cultural figure, lived in his later years. In the autumn of 1963, Guo Moruo moved here and spent the last 14 years of his life in this quaint Beijing quadrangle on the west bank of Shichahai.
Walking into the memorial hall, on the grass, the bronze statue of Guo Moruo sat in front of the vine stand, his hands gently on his knees, and his eyes were calm and calm. Stopping in under the greenwood tree, the long-lost birdsong in the downtown area is endless.
The most conspicuous plants in the courtyard are ginkgo biloba and peony planted by Mr. and Mrs. Guo Moruo, and the grass and trees that once lived with their owners day and night are infiltrated in their sincere and broad emotional world. People hang down the flower door into the quadrangle, and the east and west hatchbacks have been turned into showrooms, showing the extraordinary lives of poets, scholars and soldiers with pictures and objects. The living room, office and bedroom of the principal room are still the display of the master when he is alive. Warm Lang surrounds the small rose garden and leads to the northernmost room. Guanghua Temple
Shichahai, which is full of clothes and horses, has always been the first choice for Buddhist monks rooted in the imperial city to spread Buddhism and become attached to it. It is named Shichahai because of the numerous Brahma temples. One of the temples, Guanghua Temple, an ancient Buddhist temple that has experienced 7 years of vicissitudes, is located at No.31 Yaer Hutong on the north bank of Houhai, on the west side of the Drum Tower. Guanghua Temple faces south, with Yinding Bridge in the east and Soong Ching Ling's former residence in the west. It covers an area of 13,8 square meters and has 329 temples, which are divided into three courtyards: Chinese, East and West. During the Yuan Dynasty, it had a vast water surface and beautiful scenery, and its unique geographical location made it the northernmost pier of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the Yuan Dynasty, where water transport vessels could reach directly. Huitong Temple faces south, with a mountain gate, a tiled ceiling with a closed hill, a stone coupon door, two chessboard doors, and three front halls and east and west halls, all of which are tiled ceilings with a large polio ceiling. There is a two-story back cover building in the backyard, and there is a dark red boulder behind the temple, which is like a cloud and knocks like copper. There seems to be a chicken and a lion in the veins of the boulder, which is commonly known as "chicken and lion stone".
Huitong Temple was completed on September 27th, 1988. Huitong Temple, covering an area of 1,1 square meters, was restored and built according to the original architectural form. Visit hutongs and enjoy the charm of Beijing
Hutongs and quadrangles are symbols of the old Beijing. Whether you are a native of Beijing or a visitor from afar, you will be attracted by the thick Beijing rhyme.
Depart from Guo Moruo's former residence in Qianhai West Street, cross Yinding Bridge and climb the Drum Tower along Qianhai North. Then take a bus across Yaer Hutong to Yiningot Bridge Pier. Along the way, there are old men with cages and birds, little girls with rubber bands jumping, and young men with bowls of Zhajiang Noodles squatting at the gate of the courtyard eating and chatting. This pleasant life makes people forget to return.
To visit hutongs, you have to go to Jinsitao, which means that there are 18 hutongs winding along the northern edge of Qianhai, the front of Houhai, Liu Yin Street and Qianhai West Street, which are bounded by Yinding Bridge. The winding Yuhe River along the way is full of social changes. Small bridges with different characteristics give you poetic reverie; The old temple makes you realize the meaning of life and the awe of the ignorant world; Wangfu Garden records the proud self-reliance and helplessness; The deep hutongs gave birth to the vitality of social development.
climb the tower and listen to the historical bell
Beijing Bell and Drum Tower, which was built in 1272, has been standing on the central axis of Beijing for more than 7 years. The two floors, one high and one short, one horizontal and one vertical, set each other off in interest, flying over the eaves, flapping their wings and trying to compete with the gods. The Bell and Drum Tower used to be the center of telling time in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, which played the role of "ruling by time, communicating with politics". It was shocking to see it as if it heard the heavy bells lingering over the capital!
When talking about Shichahai, we can't help but mention Deshengmen Tower. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, every time soldiers sent troops to fight, they all set out from Deshengmen, and then went to the front line to borrow the slogan of "Desheng". Now, standing on the door of Deshengmen, a vibrant science and technology park is in front of us, and the pace of social progress will be unstoppable from now on. Looking north from the city gate, you can also see the weeping willows and the scenery of the pavilion. The natural scenery here and the mutual reflection of the science and technology park are really a bit different!
canoeing and enjoying a pleasant life
As night falls, there are many cruise ships in Shichahai, with a little fire and the sound of the piano. The paddle boat in Shichahai is modeled after the boat shape in the Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, which is antique. Tourists boarded the boat at the Lotus Market Pier opposite the north gate of Beihai Park. The boatman wearing a hat and a yellow jacket rocked the boat, lit the ancient lantern on the boat, and the young lady with a silk and bamboo instrument in her bow plucked out soft and beautiful folk music. Boating across the famous landscape of ancient Beijing "Yinding Bridge", tourists drink tea and snacks, while watching the rich cultural landscape and folk life scenes on both sides of the strait. The most wonderful thing is that the sun sets and the sun rises, and the boat sails behind Shichahai. Tourists light candles, paper lanterns and put them into the water. The lanterns float along the stern, flickering and shining. Tourists on shore stop to watch the sound of silk and bamboo, and tourists on board enjoy drinking ...
Beautiful scenery needs to be accompanied by delicious food to make life comfortable. As it happens, famous foods such as barbecue season, Zhuyuan Hotel and Lijia cuisine are just beside Shichahai.
