The Mongolian horse described by the painter is rigorous in modeling, profound in artistic conception, profound in pen and ink, and has strong visual impact and shocking power. It is a vivid stroke that the painter felt after communicating with Mongolian horses. Sun Haichen is unique in China painting circle with his unique views and achievements in painting horses. Therefore, he was hired as a visiting professor by two advanced fine arts colleges in Inner Mongolia.
Sun Haichen's works have participated in many important domestic art exhibitions and won awards. "Rigorous but refined, fresh and elegant _ _ Sun Haichen and Mongolian horses in his works" was published in the 94th issue of China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper on October 24th, 2005.

Chinese painting Su Nite Shepherd &; lt; Fine brushwork 1996 was selected for the 8th National Art Exhibition, and was included in China Contemporary Meticulous Painting published by Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House 1900- 1997. His works are now collected in Inner Mongolia Art Museum.
Chinese painting "Shepherd in the Desert" and "Fine brushwork" were selected for the 2nd National Hundred Flowers Art Exhibition 1995, and won the silver prize. 1996 participated in the 14th exhibition "The Third World and Our JAALA" held in Tokyo, Japan.
Chinese paintings Shen Jun and Freehand brushwork were selected 1996 "China Ink Painting Seal Cutting Exhibition" sponsored by Macau Oriental International Painting Association, which was exhibited in Taipei.
Chinese painting "Wind in the Desert" and "Fine brushwork" were selected 1997 World China Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, China Academy of Fine Arts, China Artists Association and China Calligraphers Association, and exhibited in China Art Museum.
Mongolian Horse-Soul of Grassland, a traditional Chinese painting, was selected as the "Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition to Celebrate Macao's Return" hosted by China Artists Association/KLOC-0 in April, 1999, and won the silver prize.
Dai Yuexing and Gongbi Painting, a Chinese painting, was selected as the 300 th Exhibition of Chinese Painting sponsored by China Artists Association and won the bronze prize.
Chinese painting "Desert Wind" (meticulous painting) 1999 12 was selected for the 9th National Art Exhibition.
In 2000, the Chinese painting "Chinese Dragon Horse" was invited to participate in the "Chinese Soul-National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition"
Chinese paintings Shen Jun and freehand brushwork were selected into the Exhibition of Outstanding Talents of Contemporary Chinese Painting sponsored by China Talent Research Association of the Ministry of Personnel and China Talent Professional Committee in June 2002, and were included in the Collection of Outstanding Talents of Contemporary Chinese Painting, winning the Outstanding Talents Award of Contemporary Chinese Painting.
In 2005, Chinese paintings "Su Nite Shepherd" and "Bole Xiangma Tu" were collected by the Central Party School.
In 2007, the Chinese painting Eight Horses was collected by the Central Military Commission Building.
