Liyang is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, managed by Changzhou City, located in the southwest of Jiangsu Province, in the Yangtze River Delta, bordering Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces. It is a member city of Nanjing Metropolitan Area and an important sub-central city and demonstration area of Ning Hang Eco-economic Belt. Liyang has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, abundant rainfall and a long frost-free period, with an annual average temperature of 17.5℃.
