The tombstone of Liu Gongquan Shu Dan, which has just seen the light of day recently, was discovered by people when they were working on the excavator site. At the same time, it was seriously damaged by the construction party on the spot. In the process of cleaning the table with an excavator, the site builder of the municipal road construction unit directly divides the tombstone buried under the soil into two parts. When they found this stone tablet, they immediately informed the relevant staff of Xi 'an Archaeological Research Institute to identify this stone tablet. When the archaeologists arrived at the scene, the stone tablet had split in two, and the two incomplete inscriptions were pieced together at the scene and identified as the tombstone of Liu Gongquan Shudan. In order to protect this destroyed historical treasure, the archaeologists in Xi 'an immediately started professional work, cleaned and transported the tombstone and sent it to the cultural relics warehouse for safekeeping.
The tombstone of Liu Gongquan Shu Dan, after relevant identification, has very important historical value and is likely to be listed as a national treasure, because the inscriptions we found in the past are either not as big as the tombstone or not as profound as it. In the previous related literature, there is no record of Liu Gongquan's inscription on Shu Dan, and this discovery is an opportunity to fill the historical gap. Although it is now split into two parts, it is not irreparable. Xi 'an Archaeological Research Institute promises to explore and clean up the site where tombstones are found, and conduct professional archaeological excavations. According to the requirements of Field Archaeology Work Regulations, the stone tablet will be repaired and remedied according to procedures, and the original appearance of the stone tablet will be restored as much as possible.
There are countless treasures of celebrities in the history of our country, and there are still many cultural relics buried under the dust waiting for us to discover. I believe that in the future, with the deepening of archaeological work, more historical relics will be seen again.
