Lanting Calligraphy Art College is a secondary college approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. The construction and development of the college has received enthusiastic concern and strong support from leaders at all levels of the central, provincial and municipal governments. The Painting and Calligraphy Institute was built in Lanting, Shaoxing, the holy place of calligraphy. The college has beautiful environment, beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. The construction scale of the college is 500 people in the near future and 0/000 people in the long term. The campus covers an area of 10 hectare, with a planned construction area of 70,000 square meters. Mr. Shen Peng, Chairman of China Calligraphy Association, concurrently serves as Honorary Dean of Calligraphy Art College, and Professor Qiu Zhenzhong, Doctoral Supervisor of Central Academy of Fine Arts, serves as Dean.
