The calligraphy works of seven-character rhythmic poems are Chen's practice books. As one of the seven laws written by Chen Xiu, it is now in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. The lines are as elegant as blue leaves, with a sense of mobility, inheriting Zhao Mengfu style. Among them, the brushwork with sharp, delicate, multi-folded and slightly zhangcao is close to Song Ke, which is a masterpiece with deep characteristics of the times.
the origin of calligraphy
although the existing literature can't find a clear record about the origin of China's calligraphy art, scholars can get some clues from the study of characters. Because ancient pottery was mostly decorated with woven patterns, the words extended the meaning of beautiful ornaments, such as cultural ornaments and tattoos in ancient Chinese.
The ancients named Chinese characters by the extended meaning of the text, which shows that Chinese characters have paid great attention to beauty decoration since their birth and have an artistic tendency. It can also be inferred that the history of calligraphy art is as long as that of Chinese characters, and the origin of calligraphy art and Chinese characters can be combined into one problem.
