Introduction of Yang Zongren

Yang Zongren is a member of Kunming Calligraphers Association, China Calligraphy Art Research Association, artist committee of China Talent Research Association, director of Kunming Workers Calligraphers Association, researcher of painting and calligraphy department of Hong Kong Oriental Cultural Center, and member of art committee of China Calligraphy Art Research Institute. His calligraphy works have won silver prizes in Zhonghe Cup, Dinosaur Cup National Calligraphy Competition and Prince Cup Cross-Strait Calligraphy Competition. The national folk arts and crafts calligraphy exhibition, the jury and other departments rated it as the gold medal. He was selected for the first reader invitation exhibition of Calligraphy Newspaper, the '98 Korea World Art Exhibition, the 20th century China painting and calligraphy scroll, and the "Chinese Soul" painting and calligraphy exhibition celebrating the 52nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Many works have been collected by Yinchuan Art Museum, Hanyuan Forest of Steles in China, Korean Forest of Steles, Japan Resources Utilization Association and other relevant departments and units at home and abroad. His works and biographies have been compiled into many classic works, such as International Dictionary of Modern and Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Professors and Centennial Classics-Complete Works of China's Calligraphy. He was awarded the honorary titles of "Cross-century '96 Momo Artist" and "International Silver Award Artist". The work has passed the evaluation of the artistic value standard ISC200 1 of the Art Quality Department of the Cultural Market Development Center of the Ministry of Culture.
