RIA= Read and Open Pages+Explain and Guide+Open Pages for Personal Use.
R is reading. For the trainees, it is the process that the book publisher asks the learners to read the original book, while for the self-learners, it is the process of reading the original book by themselves. For students, it is a process that the author explains and guides learners to understand knowledge, while for learners, it is a process that needs to repeat knowledge points. A-misappropriation, that is, the process in which book-openers catalyze and promote the dismantling of content for their own use in learners' narratives, is a process in which the knowledge in narratives is linked with their own life experiences for learners.
In RIA reading method, a post-it note reading method is proposed for individual learners, and reading notes are divided into three categories, namely I, A 1 and A2:
I am an interpreter. Learners retell their knowledge in their own words, try not to quote the original directly, and retell it accurately and clearly.
A 1 is a process of misappropriation, which is mainly the notes of learners describing their relevant experiences. The so-called relevant experience can be experienced by yourself or seen and heard with your own eyes. Narrative elements should be basically complete, and learners can deepen their understanding of knowledge by describing their own relevant experiences.
A2 is also a process of misappropriation and knowledge application. At this point, learners can describe their application of knowledge points, which can include your goals and actions. When writing this note, be careful not to write too much emotion and determination, but to be clear about your goals and actions.
When we use note A 1, it shows that we are already going deep into the current knowledge points; When we use A2, it means that we have successfully linked the current knowledge points with our reality. At this time, the books we read have played a role for us.
Generally speaking, the post-it note reading method has something in common with Tao Xingzhi's learning theory of knowing and doing in one, that is, it is necessary to correctly and deeply interpret the knowledge points and apply what they have learned. This is what we need to learn most when reading this book.
