How teachers adjust their mentality

The famous American scholar Napoleon Hill told such a story in the book "The Study of Success": Two European businessmen went to Africa to sell leather shoes. After businessman A arrived in Africa, he saw that due to the hot weather, Africans are used to going barefoot and are very disappointed. He sighed: "Africans are all barefoot, how can they buy leather shoes to wear?" So he gave up the sales plan and returned frustrated. After businessman B arrived in Africa, he was very happy to see that all the Africans were barefoot and exclaimed: "No Africans wear shoes, the market is so big!" So businessman B set up camp in Africa, advertised leather shoes, and guided Africans wear leather shoes, buy leather shoes, and eventually return rich. It's the same African market, and we're also facing Africans who are used to going barefoot. Why did businessman A fail and businessman B succeed? On the surface, they seem to have just one thought. In fact, these two businessmen have a fundamental difference between a negative mentality and a positive mentality. A good attitude can play an important role in the success of a businessman. I think our teachers’ work requires a more positive attitude. Teachers often face "naughty" students, students with "poor" grades, and students with "weird" personalities. They will encounter many difficulties at work, especially when the grades of students in the class are not ideal after the exam. These situations can make people Do you have a good attitude? Everyone knows that teachers must have a good attitude, but how to have a good attitude? How should teachers deal with these things? We must learn from Businessman B in the above story and treat seemingly "difficult" things with a positive attitude. We can often find advantageous factors from disadvantageous conditions and achieve good results. Next I want to talk about a case, which is the experience of a head teacher leading a poor class: In order to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, the school put students with poor academic performance in a grade into the same class. Very few students in the class passed the test in major subjects. . Some teachers said to the teacher who took over: "You are in charge of a poor class anyway. It doesn't matter whether you can get good results." But this head teacher didn't think so. He believed that leading a "bad" class is more important than getting good results. Better results. He conducted an in-depth understanding and analysis of the students in the class and found that there were many students in the class who could play football and many students who were good at handwriting. As a result, the class established a football team and a calligraphy association. The football team first challenged each class and ended up playing unbeatable games in the entire school. Then the class held an exhibition of calligraphy works. The students' homework in various subjects were turned into calligraphy works, and teachers and other classmates were invited to visit. It may be the first time for the students in this class to hear the praise from teachers and classmates, and everyone is very excited. The head teacher constantly encouraged the students and asked everyone to work harder to improve their studies. The students in this class have gained self-confidence, and as a result, their academic performance has kept up. From this case, we can see: when faced with "students with learning difficulties" or "bad students", if we ignore them and treat them with a complaining attitude, they may become real poor students. If we treat him with a positive attitude, we can see many bright spots. We worked for a day, and some said: "I am exhausted today." Some said: "I have gained a lot after a busy day." Maybe this is the expression of two different mentality. How to adjust your mentality? Let’s talk about some of my practices. 1. We must make it clear that the purpose of education is not to pass exams, but more importantly, to cultivate children's comprehensive qualities. The exam is only a test of the students' mastery of the knowledge they have learned. Poor test scores in the class do not completely represent the teacher's lack of ability. 2. Have a clear understanding and clear grasp of the learning situation of students in the class. You should lower your expectations and don't compare with other classes. No matter where you are ranked, just compare yourself with yourself, as long as you make progress compared to last time. As long as there is progress, it is the success of your education and teaching. 3. No matter whether the test is good or bad, the important thing is not to look at the score, but to find out the existing problems through the test paper. Is there any progress compared with the child before? Where is the progress? Find out the achievements and shortcomings, reflect deeply, and then work hard, as long as you work hard and feel clear about it. 4. But when undesirable situations still occur, you must have the spirit of Ah Q. We can only take educating poor students as a challenge to ourselves. See if their grades have improved. If they have improved, their efforts have not been in vain. 5. Be content and happy. Be a good teacher, but don't be demanding that your grades exceed others. Be a good class teacher, but don't demand that your class must be first in grade. That will make you more tired and your students more tired. Competing with others always puts you in a state of tension. As long as the children make progress, you will be content and happy.

With a healthy body and an optimistic mindset, we are a success. As the saying goes, if you cannot change the environment, you must learn to adapt to the environment; if you cannot change others, you can change yourself. Different people will have different views on the same thing, and different views will produce different emotional experiences. Whether you feel happy or painful all depends on your view on this matter. Dialectical materialism tells people that things are relative, so pain and joy are also relative, and they are both feelings about life. The ancients said: "If you compare those who are in trouble, you will have more than those who are below. If you compare those who work hard, you will be leisurely and happy; if you compare those who are sick, those who are healthy will enjoy themselves; if you compare those who are suffering from misfortunes, those who are safe will enjoy themselves." Even Lu Xun's writings Ah Q also knows the method of spiritual victory, not to mention us? Therefore, when we see unsatisfactory things in the world, why not comfort ourselves? Mr. Zheng Banqiao once said: "It is rare to be confused." People sometimes pretend to be confused when they should be confused. Don't be too sensitive about some things. You must have a broad mind and a free and easy attitude towards life. Be open-minded and generous in dealing with others and do not get into trouble; you must learn to be calm, tolerant, leave room for room, and be comprehensive. Look at the problem objectively and rationally, look for happiness from the busy daily work, discover happiness, experience pleasant emotions, and create a good mental state. Only in this way can we overcome various difficulties and be like Teacher Huo Maozheng at work. Get happiness instead of worries and depression. Finally, there are a few life mottos that I would like to encourage everyone: ●Care about others and be happy yourself. ●The reason why people are happy is not because they get more, but because they care less. ;●Most of human suffering is caused by taking oneself too seriously and wanting the world to revolve around oneself.●Happiness belongs to those who are easily satisfied. ●The so-called happiness means having a grateful heart, a healthy body, a satisfying job, a lover who loves you deeply, and a group of trustworthy friends.
