Wang Ruoxu was a famous litterateur in the Jin Dynasty, whose name was Mahufu. He was born in Calm Town (now Hebei Province). He studied hard in his early years and studied under his uncle Zhou Ang and the ancient prose writer Liu Zhong. In the second year of Cheng 'an (1 197), Jin Zhangzong was promoted to be a righteous man and served as the secretariat of Zhangzhou. He worked as a county magistrate in Guancheng and Menshan, and they all managed well.
