Bailong Temple is located in this picturesque pine and cypress green rock, giving it a mysterious color. Since ancient times, this place has been regarded as a sacred place and listed as the first of the eight scenic spots of Yang Lan, which has been greatly appreciated by literati and left many hymns.
The founding date of Bailong Temple is unknown. According to the records of stone tablets, it was repaired in Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing and Republic of China, and gradually formed a complete temple pattern. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, it was burned by Japanese invaders. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the local people are still rebuilding. During the Cultural Revolution, it was severely damaged. After 1980, the masses spontaneously organized maintenance. 1987, the county government listed Bailong Temple as a key cultural relic protection unit, and hung plaques and tree monuments to commemorate it, and also allocated funds for renovation year by year.
