Guan Shanyue (19 12-2000), formerly known as Guan Zepei, was born in Yangjiang, Guangdong. Good at Chinese painting. 1936 went to Sun Yat-sen University to study under the Lingnan School and studied at the Spring Sleeping Painting Academy. Published "Guan Shanyue Nanyang Ji You Painting Collection" and "Southwest and Northwest Travel Sketch Selection". After liberation, he successively served as professor and vice president of South China Institute of Literature and Art, professor and vice president of Central and South America, professor and vice president of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, member of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th National Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chairman of Guangdong Branch of China Artists Association, president of Guangdong Painting Academy, vice chairman and consultant of China Artists Association. Representative works include Joe's Fight for Spring, South of the Canglang, Ode to the Long River, etc., as well as Beauty of Mountains and Rivers and canoeing with Fu Baoshi. He has held solo exhibitions at home and abroad for many times and published a variety of solo albums. 199 1 donated to China Artists Association to establish "Guan Shanyue Chinese Painting Teaching and Creation Fund", and donated works to establish Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum.
