The carved screen of Yueyang Tower was given by Emperor Qianlong. This is an engraving of Yueyang Tower by Zhang Zhao, a calligrapher in Qing Dynasty. These 12 carved screens are 3. 16 meters long and 4. 16 meters wide, with gold characters on a black background, which are as big as bowls. The first six lines are regular script, starting from the seventh line, and the full text of Yueyang Tower is engraved on every carved screen in running script.
