The names of Ou Yangxun's stories are as follows:
1. Wandering around to watch the tablet:
It is said that once Ou Yangxun was riding out, he happened to see a tablet written by Suo Jing, a famous calligrapher in Jin Dynasty. He rode on a horse and watched it carefully for a while before leaving, but after just a few steps, he couldn't help but return to dismount and watch it. He praised it many times and didn't want to leave, so he simply laid a felt and sat down and pondered it over and over again. Finally, he sat down beside the monument for three days before leaving.

Ou Yangxun, a famous calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, especially loved the calligraphy of the "two kings", and bought it back to study as long as he saw the ink of Wang Xizhi's father and son. One day, he saw a "Zhi Gui Tu" taught by Wang Xizhi to Wang Xianzhi. He bought it at a lot of money and kept it at home to watch and study every day. He was often so happy that he couldn't sleep all night. He studied and studied for a whole month until he understood the essence of Zhi Gui Tu.
3. Self-created calligraphy style:
Ou Yangxun first imitated Wang Xizhi in practicing calligraphy, and then found his own way. In particular, his block letters are bold and vigorous, and his statutes are strict, which is regarded as a standard by future calligraphers and handed down as "European style".

After Ou Yangxun became an orphan, he was taken in by General Manager Jiang, who was always a famous litterateur in the Southern Dynasties. When he was in Chen Houzhu, he held a high position such as Shangshuling, and his calligraphy was also first-class. According to the records in Dou Yuan's Shu Fu, General Manager Jiang was one of the 21 calligraphers in the Chen Dynasty, and his books were deeply influenced by Wang Xizhi.
President Jiang has a good relationship with Ou Yangxun's father. They are friends who have forgotten the past year and share the same interests. Therefore, President Jiang is willing to take in Ou Yangxun and bring him up.
