What is the history of Buddhism in Deng Qing, Huai Su?

Huai Su was born in Lingling, Yongzhou in the Tang Dynasty. A good Buddha at an early age made a monk.

He is the leader of a generation of coquettish cursive scripts in the history of calligraphy. His cursive script is called "crazy cursive script", and his pen is round and powerful, making it go round and round, unrestrained and smooth, in one go. He is as famous as Zhang Xu, another cursive writer in Tang Dynasty, and is called "Zhang Diankuang" or "Zhang Dian Zui". His masterpiece Preface can be described as a model in the history of cursive script.

Huai Su was born in 725. He became a monk in a temple since he was a child, but he always insisted on his hobby of calligraphy. His achievements in calligraphy are the result of his long-term unremitting practice.

The monk's duty is to serve the Buddha, meditate, recite scriptures and practice calligraphy, and every minute takes up all the rest time. This, Huai Su completely did it. His perseverance is amazing.

Four Treasures of the Study also needs to practice calligraphy. Life in the temple is poor. You have to spend a lot of money on pens and ink. How can you afford ink stone and paper?

But it didn't bother Huai Su. He managed to make his own substitute. First find a wooden pallet and a board, color it, and use it as an inkstone and tablet. Grinding ink every day, writing every day, grinding when the ink is dry, and writing after grinding; Wipe it after writing, and wipe it before writing. Day after day, year after year, the boards are worn out and worn through.

Later, Huai Su thought the lacquer board was smooth and not easy to ink, so he planted 10000 banana trees on a wasteland near the temple. When the banana grew up, he picked the leaves and spread them on the table, waving at the post.

Because Huai Su practiced calligraphy day and night, the old banana leaves were peeled off and the lobules were reluctant to pick, so he thought of a way to stand in front of the banana tree with pen and ink and write to the fresh leaves, even if the sun shone on him like frying; The biting north wind cracked his hands and skin, but he kept practicing calligraphy regardless. He kept writing about one place after another. This is the famous Huai Su's "Ba Jiao Lian Zi".

You can't write without a pen. Huai Su loves pens and washes them after writing. He didn't have a suitable water container, so he took local materials and washed his pen in a small stone pool outside the house as a "pen washing". Over time, the water in the pool turned into black water, so people called it "Mo Chi".

This is how Huai Su worked hard to create conditions, studied hard, and finally learned to hover with a pen, which was wild, changeable and free. From a young monk who loves to write, he became a calligraphy master worthy of emulation and praise.

In 759, Huai Su was twenty-two years old. This year, Li Bai was 59 years old. After the martial arts were forgiven, he returned to Jiangling by boat from Changliu Yelang. When I visited the Xiaoxiang area of Dongting in southern China, I was found by Huai Su. Although they forgot to make friends, Li Bai's spirit was very exciting, and he immediately wrote a cursive script to praise Huai Su:

The young master's name is Huai Su, and the cursive script is amazing.

Mo Chi flew out of the North Grilled Fish and killed all Zhongshan rabbits with the pen tip.

Stand up, don't stop by the wall. A row of numbers is as big as a bucket.

It's like smelling ghosts and gods, always seeing dragons and snakes wandering around.

The left plate and the right plate are like surprises, and they seem to attack Chu Han.

Every family in seven counties in Hunan has a barrier book.

Wang, named after several waves in ancient times.

Zhang Dian died of old age, and I never forget what happened before.

Since ancient times, everything has been expensive, so why do you want to dance in Gong Sundaniang?

In 762, Huai Su was 3 1 year old. He set out from Lingling, took Wan Li Road, sought teachers and friends, and sought the brushwork of contemporary famous artists, passing through Hengyang and Ketanzhou. In 767, he went south to Guangzhou to learn painting from Xu Hao.

The poet Su Xun met Huai Su in Changsha. At that time, Xu Hao went to Guangzhou as a secretariat, and Huai Su asked Su Xun to write a poem. Su Xun wrote "A Gift to Lingling Monk", also known as "Master Huai Su's Cursive Song";

Zhangdian has been absent for 20 years, saying that he is a sage of grass and has never been handed down from generation to generation.

Shaman Lingling followed closely, and the new book was as big as a bucket.

When you are drunk, your ears are more enthusiastic.

Suddenly, like Peiman dancing double swords, seven stars were scattered around the dragon.

Another example is Wu Sheng's paintings of ghosts and gods.

Hooks and locks are connected, and stubborn snakes compete for iron.

Xihe dance is firm but gentle and lingyun, and the solitary account is alone.

Today, Huatang is full of masterpieces.

Looking back at the chapter on inviting Yufu, I want to make the price of admiration equal.

Reciting 300 words, why is it like a drunken monk subverting madness!

Suddenly, he accused me of traveling to the south, saying that he prayed for the name of Asia.

Han Lingxian, the book of elegant fragrance, will know when I see you.

The price of paper in Nanzhong was very expensive that day, for fear that greedy spring would become Mo Chi.

In poetry, Huai Su is regarded as the only heir after Zhang Xu, the "sage of grass", while Xu Hao's calligraphy is almost superior to Wang Xianzhi's. If Huai Su is appreciated by Xu, it must be "expensive in Luoyang".

Huai Su went to Chang 'an, the capital, at the invitation of Zhang Wei, the minister of rites. One day, Huai Su saw a few floating clouds, scattered like cotton balls, reflecting the mild sunshine. Golden light shines around the clouds, and the sun is covered by clouds. He couldn't help thinking of Li Bai's poem "A cloud appeared between the light in the sky and me, hiding his city from my melancholy heart".

After a while, these cumulus clouds quickly dispersed, and they became oblate clouds with a blue sky in the middle. From a distance, these white clouds are like white sheep on the grassland, like galloping horses, like lions, like Dapeng, and some are like Qifeng. Suddenly, dark clouds are gathering, lightning and thunder are thundering, and the wind and rain are blowing hard.

At this moment, Huai Su suddenly remembered the word "enlightenment". Why can't I apply these changes of Xia Yun in the wind to weeds? Since then, Huai Su's Wild Grass has made a leap forward. Under the influence of Cao Zhang, he broke through the shackles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi and creatively formed his own style of Wild Grass.

Huai Su, aged 40 to Jingzhao, asked Yan Zhenqing for his brushwork, and asked for a preface to Guanzhupian.

When Yan Zhenqing was in his twenties, he traveled to Chang 'an and studied under Zhang Xu for two years. He has a slight brushwork and thinks he is unstable. At the age of 35, he returned from his post in Liquan and went to Luoyang to visit Zhang Xu, where he continued to seek advice.

On one occasion, Yan Zhenqing repeatedly asked Zhang Xu to teach brushwork. Zhang Xu said nothing for a long time and left in hope and unhappiness. Yan Zhenqing followed him to the small hall in East Chickurinen. Zhang Xu sat on the bed, ordered Yan Zhenqing to live by the small couch, and said, "The brushwork is mysterious, so it is difficult to teach white religion. If it is not a person with lofty ideals, how can it be wonderful? " Books seek energy and attack real grass. Today, it is necessary to think about it. "

Zhang Xu gave Yan Zhenqing the meaning of "twelve strokes", and after Yan Zhenqing got to know Huai Su, he taught Huai Su the meaning of "twelve strokes", that is, "pointing horizontally, pointing vertically, both at the international level and at the international level". He asked Huai Su again, "Besides being taught by the teacher, what do you think of your cursive script?"

Huai Su said, "One evening, I observed Xia Yun's posture for a long time. I found that the changes of clouds with the wind are unpredictable, or like towering peaks, or like dragons churning, or like birds out of the forest, startled snakes into the grass, or like Dapeng spreading its wings and strolling across the plains, endless and wonderful. "

Yan Zhenqing said, "I have never heard of your experience of Xia Yun Qifeng, which has increased my knowledge. The profound beauty of The Sage of Grass has attracted many generations. Today, you have come, and there are successors. "

Huai Su spent his later years in Baoyuan Temple in Chengdu, Sichuan. Guan Xiushi: "Teachers don't talk about classics, don't talk about Zen." After Tang Huai's vegetarian fish post, Li Huang said that Huai Su ate both meat and fish. Jin Ping Mei said that he was "drunk nine times a day". Perhaps the drunkard's intention is not wine, "crazy monks don't do it for wine, but his goal is" crazy grass "

Huai Su's cursive scripts include: 42 chapters, thousands of words, autobiographical notes, bitter bamboo shoots, Notre Dame, essays, last summer, poverty, chasing deer, drunkenness, eating fish, and staying in guest houses.
