The main hall of Wang Yue Temple

After the beginning, the main hall of Yue Temple has been repaired repeatedly for several generations, maintaining the style of hard mountain architecture. Height10m, 5 rooms wide and 3 rooms deep. The roof of the temple is edged with green glazed components, the front ridge is decorated with colorful Long Yun, the middle is a lion bottle, and the two ends are dragon-shaped kisses, with the ridge swallowed by the mouth and the sword inserted behind it. The hall is magnificent. There is a worship platform in front of the temple. From east to west, there are five huge plaques under the lintel: Hundred Wars, Hometown Cowpea, Nai Wu Naiwen, Loyal Soul, Gan Kun and Righteousness. Among them, "A Hundred Wars Won" and "Loyalty Without Losing" were written by Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty and Empress Dowager Cixi respectively. Zhongmen's couplet "Who has never lived or died since ancient times, the first fame does not love money" is an inscription for He Jinshou, the second place in Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty and the president of the Hanlin Academy. His inscription said: "Wang Yue said: Civil servants don't love money, and military commanders will not hesitate to die, so the world will be at peace ..." These incisive epigrams still have profound significance today.

In the main hall of Yue Temple, the statue of Yue Fei sits in the middle, with a golden helmet and purple robe, shining golden armor on his arm, holding a sword, heavy eyebrows and handsome eyes, which is magnificent. There is a huge gold plaque embedded in Yue Fei's cursive script "Return My Rivers and Mountains". On both sides of the statue and between the surrounding walls, there are excellent couplets and calligraphy and painting works made by contemporary painters and painters to praise Yue Fei.

Why were the East Temple and the West Temple originally built? Zhang Xi 'an Temple is now the showroom of Yuefei's historical sites. Behind the main hall is the bedroom, decorated with "mother-in-law's tattoo". Yue Yun Temple, Zisi Temple (Yue Lei, Lin Yue, Yue Zhen and Laoting), York Temple and Zhang Xi 'an Temple are located on the east and west sides of the sleeping hall respectively. In the northeast corner of the sleeping hall, there is the ancestral hall of Yue Fei's three generations, and in the northwest corner, there is the filial piety hall of Yue Fei's daughter.

Yue Temple is covered with pine and cypress, and the forest of steles is like forest. Since the temple was built, we have collected more than 200 articles, poems and the handwriting of foreign envoys praising Yue Fei. The earliest existing inscription is the Preface to Poems of the King of Yue Mu, which was established in Jingtai period of Ming Dynasty (1452), and the latest one is Loyal to the Country, which was established by 1936. The authors include Zhu Yuanzhang, the great ancestor of Ming Dynasty, and several poems written by Xu Da, Dong Qichang, Hai Rui, Zeng Sheng, Tao Shu and How to praise Yue Fei. It records anecdotes that are not found in history books. These inscriptions have all the styles of poetry, ci, song, fu and annotation, and all the styles of truth, line, seal, official script and cursive script. They are precious treasures of calligraphy, literature, art and historical research in the Central Plains.

The wall of the bedroom is inlaid with "Master's Watch" and "Manjianghong", which is said to be a stone tablet written by Yue Fei in calligraphy. The brushwork is chic and vigorous, like a rushing river, and the arrow is sharp and magnificent. Its carving skills are fine, its bones are firm, its cutting skills are free, and its structure is solemn, so it is known as a treasure in the world. Chinese and foreign tourists stop to watch and linger.
