Yongchuan Museum (Chen Zizhuang Art Exhibition Hall) is a state-owned museum, which was established on 20 13. Yongchuan Museum is located at the southern foot of the beautiful Chashan Bamboo Sea and the east side of Shennv Lake Park. The main building is an antique frame structure with a building area of12535m2 and an exhibition hall area of 6181m2. It is a comprehensive museum integrating nature, history and humanities.
Yongchuan Museum was officially opened to the public free of charge on May 8, 20 16 (moved to the new museum on October 26, 20 18). There are 8309 pieces in the collection, including grade cultural relics 13 1 piece. The collection includes 1000 bronze-covered stupas and a sarcophagus depicting the Han Dynasty. From June 5438 to February 2020, Yongchuan Museum was rated as a national second-class museum by China Museum Association.
Architectural composition
The main building of the museum is an antique frame structure with a construction area of about 9000m2. It is equipped with a landscape river about 600 meters long and three arch bridges across the river. The exhibition hall is divided into three floors, covering the fields of nature, history and humanities. The main exhibition areas include beautiful Yongchuan, vicissitudes of life, dinosaur home, natural treasures, ancient road pursuit, mellow Han style and prosperous Yongchuan.
In addition to the display of basic historical relics, it also focuses on the natural exhibits with Yongchuan Dragon and Songshi fossils in the upper reaches, and shows the elegant demeanor of calligraphy and painting works represented by Chen Zizhuang, the hometown of calligraphy in China.
