What is the inscription of Sichuan Chengdu Caotang?
Jinshui spring breeze was occupied by the public; He wrote this famous couplet before I returned to Du Fu's Caotang Poetry History Museum. It has become a big habit for many Chengdu people to visit the thatched cottage on the first and seventh day of the first month to pay homage to Du Fu. When visiting the thatched cottage, people will think of this couplet and admire its exquisite calligraphy, clever conception of the couplet and fair evaluation of the poet Du Fu. Who is he, Ji Shao? What school did his calligraphy artist inherit? Why do people visit the thatched cottage every day? These questions are what many tourists want to know. He was born in 1799 and died in 1873. He was born in Daozhou, Hunan Province, and the world also called him Daozhou. His family has been a scholarly family for generations, and has inherited his studies since childhood. When he was a teenager, he was famous for his agility in poetry. In the 16th year of Qing Daoguang (AD 1836), he was admitted to the Chinese Imperial Examination. He has presided over examinations in Fujian, Guizhou, Guangdong and other provinces, and selected candidates from provincial capitals. He Qingzheng was honest, meritocratic, unselfish, and didn't look up to senior officials. He was able to select Tessa in the process of presiding over the provincial examination, so he was called a "scholar", which led to a great change in the academic atmosphere at that time. In August of the second year of Xianfeng (AD 1852), he was awarded the post of Director of Education Department of Sichuan Province, in charge of school education and examination. At that time, after the Opium War, the decadent and closed-door Qing Dynasty gradually declined, and foreign powers were eyeing up and plotting to carve up China. Most officials in the imperial court and local governments only knew that they were robbing people's wealth, pocketing their own money, ignoring human lives and poisoning the people. He, a senior official in Sichuan, is an official in charge of education and talent selection, but as long as he sees anything that harms the country and the people, he will never go along with it and handle it impartially. Therefore, he dismissed some incompetent education officials and eliminated many disadvantages accumulated in the imperial examination. He also wrote to the court to impeach local officials. However, many local officials in Sichuan have powerful and hard backgrounds in Beijing. He didn't clarify the bureaucracy in Sichuan, but gave his work to Ji Shao. However, at that time, the governor of Sichuan, Huang He, and the general of military music, Yan Ting, all knew his qualities, such as honesty and frankness, and admired his real talent and learning. They were all willing to mediate for him, and many scholars wrote to Du Yuan to keep the demoted academic adult. So, they discussed and thought about it, invited businessmen to invest, founded the "Caotang Academy" and hired a keynote speaker. He was ungrateful at the same time, feeling that his career was ups and downs, the situation was turbulent, and the people were in trouble, so he resigned and invited him from Shu to Qin. After that, he devoted himself to writing in Luoyang Academy in Shandong and Chengnan Academy in Changsha. He left a collection of poems of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty in the thatched cottage, which has been handed down to this day. He loved Du Fu's poems since childhood, but his own poems found another way. He once said, "Under the pine and cypress trees, nothing grows and everything grows ... Are you really angry with Yu Songbai?" He compared Du Fu to pine and cypress, compared himself to grass, and advocated that poetry creation should be innovative rather than relying on famous artists.
