Calligraphy word structure

First, the center of gravity is stable. The center of gravity of stability is to write the word straight and balanced, and stabilize the whole word on the support point without losing the center of gravity. In Chinese characters, symmetry is only a small part, while most of them are asymmetric. In the process of writing, the following methods can be used to achieve the purpose of stabilizing the center of gravity. These words are left and right structures or semi-enclosing structures. Some are small on the left and big on the right, some are long on the left and short on the right, some are not in the center of the word, and the left and right are asymmetrical. The stability of writing focus needs to be adjusted according to the structure of words.

Second, the density is symmetrical. Chinese characters are simple and complicated, with many strokes, ranging from ten to twenty paintings to two or three strokes. When writing, you should arrange the blanks between points so that the distance between each stroke is reasonable and equal. Words with more strokes are arranged evenly, compactly and not crowded, and words with fewer strokes are loose and not thin. Third, echo coherence. Although each stroke of regular script has its own beginning and end, the latter stroke should be written naturally along the stroke of the previous stroke when it is collected, so that the strokes are broken.

The methods of lifting, hooking, inserting and avoiding are adopted between the radicals, so that the strokes echo, look around, and be vivid and integrated. Fourth, the changes are uneven. If there are two or more identical strokes in a word, there must be changes in length, weight, skew, pitch and retraction. If there are two or more words with the same composition, we should distinguish between primary and secondary words, and make some changes in size, strength and retraction to avoid similarity and achieve uneven levels.

Five, because the shape of words

Chinese characters themselves are not all squares, but have their own natural forms. Song Jiangkui pointed out in Continued Book Spectrum: "The length, size, skew and density of words?" Therefore, writing should not be forced, but should be shaped by words. Only in this way can the words be written beautifully and neatly with different expressions.
