How to help first-year students write calligraphy well

This semester, I teach Chinese for the first grade. Speaking of the first grade, what bothers me most is their handwriting. Although some children can read a lot of words and write, most students' handwriting is not written in the order of strokes. For example, when writing the word "mouth", most people write the word "mouth" on the left first and then the word "mouth" on the right. What shall we do? So, I consulted an experienced teacher in my second year of high school. After a period of guidance, I summarized the following points:

First, let students improve their understanding ability.

In my opinion, the first step of writing teaching is to solve the problem of primary school students' understanding and let them really understand the importance of writing a good composition. Before writing teaching, I will constantly instill this idea in students and help them understand this truth with some popular and vivid expressions. For example, I use this metaphor: having a good hand is like putting on beautiful clothes, which gives people a beautiful enjoyment. If a person often doesn't wash his face and his clothes are dirty, it will be annoying. Through such enlightening education, children can truly feel that writing is so important, thus solving the cognitive problem.

Second, cultivate students' interest in writing

Good writing can't be practiced overnight. The key is persistence. To make active children like to write, we must let them develop good patience habits. Pupils are young, have poor self-control, are inattentive, and the process of writing is boring, so this has caused great difficulties to writing teaching. How to overcome it? Bottom line: cultivate interest. As the saying goes, "Interest is the best teacher". As long as you cultivate this interest and all difficulties are solved, you can turn boredom into love, passivity into initiative and boredom into interest.

1. In teaching, I often use various methods to cultivate students' interest according to the age characteristics of primary school students, such as writing the word "big" and comparing it with the word "person", so that students can find the differences themselves, give students a sense of accomplishment and experience the different fun between words. Then I will take the initiative to write these words.

2. Pupils are aggressive and always eager for their success to be affirmed by everyone. We can mobilize students' enthusiasm and sense of competition through competitions. Students who write well are often praised in their usual homework. From the students' homework, select students who write particularly well and pass them on to the whole class as an example for the whole class to learn. At the same time, we also praise some progressive students and encourage them to be good students.

Third, carefully guide and understand writing.

I think we should teach students to write good articles. It is necessary to help students practice the basic skills of writing. First of all, teachers should teach students the correct writing posture, writing and pen-lifting. Every word is made up of dots, horizontal, vertical, left-handed and pressed. Therefore, it is necessary to teach students the order of strokes, so that they can remember the formula of "first horizontal, then vertical, first left, then down, first middle and then back, first inside and then sealed". Students' irregular writing should be corrected and guided.

Secondly, the teacher's model essay is also very important. As a teacher, we should write down all the words that Tian Zi Griffin asks students to imitate.

I believe that with our joint efforts, our students' calligraphy level will be improved day by day.
