The Anshan Temple enshrines King Zhengshun, also known as the "Lord of the Land of Luonai". The local people refer to the Lord as the "Lord of the Land" and is a county-level cultural relic protection unit. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as the Anxi people went out to explore, the Luonei Territory Lord belief spread to Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and other places. It was divided into more than ten places and became famous at home and abroad. Anshan Temple is dedicated to King Zhengshun (also known as "Luo Nei

Jingzhu" and "Jingzhu Gong"). His predecessor was Xie Fangde (1226-1289), a famous patriotic poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, whose courtesy name was Jun. Zhi, nicknamed Dieshan, also nicknamed Yizhai, was born in Yiyang, Jiangxi Province, and was a Jinshi in the same discipline as Wen Tianxiang. Xie Fangde lived at the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. He was a patriot who cared about the country and the people, and had noble national integrity. At the same time, he was also a famous poet in history. He wrote countless poems and books in his life, and he also had deep knowledge of poetry criticism. Research and left a lot of works. Throughout Xie Fangde's life, it can be divided into two stages based on his exile in Fujian. In the former stage, Xie Fangde read poetry and books, served as an official in the Song Dynasty, and led troops to fight against the Yuan Dynasty. He was very Confucian. In the latter stage, he was defeated and exiled to Fujian, where he lived a semi-reclusive life, met some Taoists and Confucians, made a living by "divination", and also talked with Taoists and Confucians about Taoism and Confucianism. During this period, his belief should be a synthesis of Confucianism and Taoism. , off track.

The legend of becoming a god

The common surname of the king of the realm is Xie Mingfangde (1226-1289), his nickname is Dieshan, a native of Yiyang, Jiangxi, and a scholar of the Southern Song Dynasty

, poet, and Wen Tianxiang were Jinshi in the same subject. Xie Fang was so talented that his poems "The Song of the Silkworm Woman", "The Peach Blossoms of Qingquan Temple" and "Ying the Shadow of Flowers" were selected into the "Poetry of Thousands of Families" and have been praised throughout the ages.

After the death of the Song Dynasty, the envoys of the Yuan Dynasty hired Xie to serve as an official in the court. He was so frustrated that he refused to do so, and later died on a hunger strike. As for Xie Fang being revered as a god because of his patriotism, there is an ancient legend in Anxi: In the early Yuan Dynasty, a farmer named Luo and his companions went up the mountain to collect firewood in Yiyang, Jiangxi. Suddenly, they saw an old man sitting on the mountainside in the distance picking fruits. Food. The farmer approached to visit, but the old man suddenly disappeared. Instead, he saw the four words "hidden place in the mountains" vaguely written at the root of an old tree. After the incident spread, everyone believed that this was the manifestation of a hero named Xie Fangde because of his attachment to the mountains and rivers of his homeland. So he carried the root of the old tree home, and Luo made a wooden sculpture based on the old man's shadow and enshrined it in the hall. Neighbors in the village went to pray to him when something happened, and he often had efficacious results, so he respectfully called him "Jingzhu Gong".

History of temple construction

In the early Ming Dynasty, the descendants of the Luo family brought the wooden statue of Jingzhugong to Fujian to open up the country, and settled down in Luoyang Township, Changtaili, Anxi (now Luonei Village, Cannei Township). Enshrine the statue of "Jingzhu Gong" at home. The Luo family is loyal and kind-hearted, and they live in harmony with the local people with the surnames Huang, Xu, Du, Jiang and others. They widely introduce the origin and deeds of "Ling Zhu Gong". Every time the villagers go to pray, they all get a spiritual response. According to word of mouth, "Jingzhugong" is becoming more and more popular. In the first year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1403), the Luo family dedicated the statue of "Jingzhu Gong", and the Huang family of Luoyang Township built a temple for worship and named it Anshan Temple.

Anshan Temple has been popular since its construction. During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Ming Dynasty, Lord Jingzhu was conferred the title of "King Zhengshun", and it spread at home and abroad with the expansion of Anxi people. Now there are more than ten punishment furnaces in Malaysia, Singapore and other places in Southeast Asia.

After the Anshan Temple was built, it was undergoing an important period of reform and development in Quanzhou religion. Therefore, the Anshan Temple also continued to change and develop with the trend of history. During this period, Quanzhou’s religion was characterized by the integration of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. In addition to enshrining the "Lord of the Realm", Anshan Temple also enshrines Tathagata Buddha, God Xuantian, Emperor Baosheng, Patriarch Qingshui, Great Immortal of Five Grains, Mrs. Jin, Marshal Jinfu, etc. The Zhifu Hall next to it was built earlier in the Anshan Temple. Although it is mainly dedicated to the Tathagata Buddha, it is also dedicated to the Great Immortal of Five Grains and Patriarch Qingshui.

The Anshan Temple has been renovated since its construction. The existing building was rebuilt in 1980. It is double-eaves style and unpretentious. It now preserves many relics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There is a plaque inscribed "Anshan Ancient Temple" by the famous calligrapher Zhang Ruitu of the Ming Dynasty; there is a personal letter "The Jade Bianstone Man" written by Huang Peisong, the number one martial artist in the Qing Dynasty; a personal letter "Yiqi of the Song Dynasty" compiled by Tanhua Huang Yi; and a personal letter written by Huang Er'ou, a Jinshi scholar. "Loyalty and filial piety" and other golden plaques.

The ancient temple in Anshan has beautiful scenery. On the cliff stone by the stream a few hundred meters away from the ancient temple, the word "Guanlan" handwritten by Cai Guobin during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty is engraved.

If you build a pavilion here, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of Xixi. Now the Luonei Village Committee is planning to build a scenic spot with Anshan Temple as the center that integrates pilgrimage and leisure. I believe that in the near future, Anshan Temple will stand in front of the world in an even more impressive manner.
