Ru Gui has successively served as a teacher of Selected Reading of Classical Literature, Introduction to Art, Art Criticism, Calligraphy and Calligraphy Aesthetics, and adhered to the artistic aim of "teaching the past to serve the present, and beauty is self-explanatory". While constantly learning and absorbing the artistic beauty of traditional calligraphy, he extensively collected the essence of contemporary Chinese and foreign art, fully demonstrated his talent and personality, and achieved remarkable results. He has been a teacher of Selected Reading of Classical Literature, Introduction to Art, Art Criticism, Calligraphy History and Calligraphy Aesthetics.

Over the past 40 years, Ru Gui's works have participated in all previous calligraphy exhibitions in Shaanxi and the fifth national calligraphy and seal cutting exhibition, and published more than 250 articles (first) of art criticism, prose and poetry. He has been invited to hold solo exhibitions or lectures in Tokyo, Kyoto, Song Tian, Aerospace and Takamatsu, as well as Century University, Baden Rouge Museum and New Orleans in the United States. His works are collected by French Oriental Art Institute, Philippine Babis Museum, Chinese Revolutionary History Museum and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. And in places of interest such as the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor, the Forest of Steles on the Yellow River and the Yellow Crane Tower in Hubei, the word "Le" is engraved.

Ru Gui is currently the vice chairman of Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, a professor at xi Academy of Fine Arts, a master tutor, the director of the Calligraphy Education Center, and the honorary chairman of Shaanxi Calligraphers Association, enjoying the special allowance of experts who have made outstanding contributions in the State Council.
