? Most temples live in the deep mountains, where the mountains are high and the water is long, and the trees are dense and sparsely populated. Once discovered, they will feel strict and sacred. Most of the temple buildings are tall and majestic, with red walls and blue tiles. Worship in the temple is even more solemn, overlooking life and penetrating the secular world. Add Sanskrit, morning bells and evening drums, and the lingering sound is lingering. Dressed like this, all people who enter the temple are in awe, and fear leads to piety. When they entered the temple gate, they burned incense and prayed silently. Whether it is useful or not is puzzling, and they feel mysterious and unknown.
Baofeng Temple, less than five kilometers away from the county seat, is located on Baofeng Mountain, the highest elevation in Luojiang, and it is also the only place that can be called a forest. Although the altitude is the highest, it is only over 700 meters, which is almost not a mountain but a slope. Although the mountain is not high, there are many trees, mainly Cyclobalanopsis glauca, pine and cypress, as well as various miscellaneous trees and shrubs, which aggregate into a small forest of 1,000 mu in Fiona Fang. Baofeng Temple is located in the pine and cypress of Cyclobalanopsis glauca on the mountainside, connected along the tree steps, and all the way up.
? There is a pond at the foot of the mountain, and the water is crystal clear. A few big white geese are at ease. Red flowers are flying up and down in the water, and the huge shadow of long neck is shaking on the water. It looks like "Goose Dancing". There is a circle of wooden cloisters on the shore, which surround the pond, simple and elegant. Above the pond is the zhaobi, and behind the zhaobi is the temple gate of Baofeng Temple, which is small but solemn.
? The letters "Baofeng Temple" on the lintel are strong and powerful. On both sides of the gate, there is a pair of couplets, the upper part of which is: sprinkling rain to weave a female foil; The bottom line is: Qingyun holds out Baofeng Mountain. Couplets were written by Yang Zhoumian, the magistrate of Luojiang County during the Qianlong period. Speaking of county magistrate Yang, few people in the city know. Yang Zhoumian (A.D. 1700- 1785), also known as Guan Shan, Guan Qing and Gu Hua, was born in Midu, Dali, Yunnan. In 27 years, Gan Long was appointed as the magistrate of Luojiang County, and in 34 years, Gan Long stepped down. In the thirty-eighth year of Qianlong, he was appointed as the magistrate of Ziyang County, Sichuan Province. He is honest and diligent, outstanding in virtue and politics, and refined in poetry and calligraphy.
During Yang Zhoumian's tenure as the magistrate of Luojiang County, he built the Yun Qi Bridge, connecting the two banks of Wenjiang River to facilitate people's travel. Destroyed at 1780. 1802, it was rebuilt in the original site and named "Taiping Bridge" to this day. In the thirty-first year of Qianlong, Yang Zhoumian mobilized the squire to donate and build the Kuixing Pavilion, so as to cultivate the style of writing, promote the movement of writing style and encourage later learning. Shuangjiang Academy was built in a private house with the inscription "Shenxuetang".
Yang Zhoumian named himself "Iron Arm" because his cursive script is vigorous and powerful. According to folklore, his calligraphy can avoid fire and water. Today, Pang Tong Temple, Baofeng Temple, Guanyin Cliff, Luojiang District Museum, Deyang City Museum, Xindu Gui Hu and other places have its ink.
Yang Zhoumian presided over the maintenance of the city wall during his tenure as the magistrate of Luojiang County. Later, he was falsely accused by inspection officials of cutting corners and enriching himself, and the court ordered him to stay for investigation. 70-year-old Yang Zhoumian lost his official position and could not return to his hometown in Yunnan. In order to close the officialdom, Yang Zhoumian came to Baofeng Temple alone (formerly known as an nunnery) and lived there for twelve years? .
? Away from the world, Yang Zhoumian takes the temple as his home, drinking mountain spring water and eating mountain fruit with the company of noble cypresses in the temple. Poetry writing of the morning bell and the evening drum, talking with the monks in the temple about classics, talking about Taoism, and talking with the woodcutter's parents. The villagers feel their advantages and often visit them with fruits, vegetables and food.
? When Yang Zhoumian practiced calligraphy, he always chose to express his feelings with tung leaves as paper under the tall and vigorous cypress. Guifeibai is one of Four Treasures of the Study in Baofeng Temple. It is said that Yang Guifei lived in seclusion in Baofeng Temple for seven years, leaving four treasures: Guifeibai, Guifeizao, Black Peony and Tung Tree. In Four Treasures of the Study, black peony and tung tree gradually disappeared in 1950s and 1960s for various reasons, but now they no longer exist, while the other two treasures still exist.
? According to legend, in the fifteenth year of Tianbao in Tang Dynasty, Xuanzong took Yang Guifei out of Chang 'an and went south to Shu, and the Majipo incident stole the bait, saved Yang Guifei's life and hid her in Baofeng Temple. This Tibet lasted for seven years. In order to amuse herself, Yang Guifei planted precious cypress and black peony in Baofeng Temple, and planted precious jujube and tung trees in the ravine around the temple. Accompanied by the breeze and the bright moon, the Sanskrit sound curled up, the noble cypress grew sturdily, the black peony was dazzling, the noble jujube was fruitful, and the tung tree covered the sky. For a time, it became a beautiful scenery of Baofeng Mountain. Yang Guifei was born in the scenery she planted, and she was also at leisure. In the eighth month of the lunar calendar, when the imperial concubine's dates are ripe, she will share them with the monks in the temple and the surrounding mountain people. After a long time, the gaunt face will shine again. Later, the villagers planted precious dates and tung trees on Baofeng Mountain. Later, when the fruit matured, Guifei jujube and Tung tree fruit brought out the best in each other. Guifei jujube became delicious, and the oil squeezed from tung tree fruit lit up the mountain village. Later, in order to commemorate Yang Guifei, people built the Empress Hall for the statue of the Imperial concubine in Baofeng Temple, and held the Empress Meeting on March 3rd every year as a memorial.
Yang Zhoumian lived in Baofeng Temple to avoid official troubles, and Yang Yuhuan hid in Baofeng Temple to avoid chaos. The two Yang surnames have been in tandem for hundreds of years, and no one knows whether they are family or not. But Baofeng Temple accepted them gracefully and accepted them without hesitation when they were lonely. Today, Baofeng Temple is still hiding in the mountains, and the people hiding in the temple are really empty. What they left behind was not only a beautiful legend, but also their kindness and indomitable spirit towards life.
