Pu Ren, a relative of the last monarch, was born in the Regent's Palace in Shichahai, Beijing in 19 18. His father, Aisingiorro Zai Feng, was the second generation prince of alcohol and the father of the last emperor Puyi, so Pu Ren was Puyi's brother. Pu Ren's kinship is not only that, Cixi is his grandmother and his uncle is Emperor Guangxu.
Pu Ren studied poetry and calligraphy since childhood. For various reasons, he has been living in Wang Fu compound. One of the few times I went out, I followed my father Zai Chun to the northeast to visit Puyi and Pu Jie under Japanese control at that time. Zai Chun was very angry when he saw his son kowtowing to the Japanese in the northeast, but he took Pu Ren back to Beijing wearing a mask because he was unwell. After returning to Beijing, Zai Feng taught Puren not to be at the mercy of the Japanese like his brother.
When Puyi abdicated, according to the regulations, all Aisingiorro family members had to change their names, so Puyi had a new name-Jin Youzhi. After the end of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Kuomintang settled in Beijing. It is reported that this old mansion will be confiscated as "reverse property". At this time, Pu Ren and Zai Feng wanted to maintain their "family business" for a long time. It happened at that time that the National Government stipulated that as long as it was an old house for education, it would not be confiscated.
So the father and son discussed running a school, so in 1947, Puren opened Beijing Ye Jing Primary School in Qinchun Wangmi. Puren not only became a principal, but also worked as a teacher with her sister to educate people. In order to run this school well, Puren did not hesitate to sell his possessions to maintain the school's expenses. Fortunately, this school is well run, and many children from neighbors study in this school.
Donating cultural relics, he lived in poverty for 195 1 year. Zai Feng died of illness. According to his father's wishes, Pu Ren donated more than 40 pieces of cultural relics such as gold seals and silver books in the palace to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, and also donated some books in the palace to Peking University and other units for free. When the state implemented the public-private partnership system, Puren handed over the Beijing Ye Jing Primary School, which was founded for ten years, to the state together with Qin Chunwang Mi's former residence, but he was transferred to Xibanqiao Primary School and other schools to teach. This kind of teaching lasted for 30 years. After retirement, Pu Ren was not idle. He began to study the history of the Qing Dynasty and published books such as Memories of the Alcohol Palace.
From the prince to the teacher who teaches and educates people, Puren did not keep the habit of "royal family" doing great things. On the contrary, Pu Ren is very frugal, and his clothes are all cheap goods of tens of dollars. Originally, his paintings and calligraphy works were expensive, but he donated the money from the auction of paintings and calligraphy to charity, and he and his wife lived on a meager pension. In 20 15, the life of Pu Ren, who was poor all his life, came to an end at the age of 96.
Summary: Although "the monarch is superior to the monarch", Pu Ren was seldom sober and was not deceived by Quan Wang's wealth. Correctly standing on the side of historical choice, he was poor all his life, regardless of personal gains and losses, set up education and donated cultural relics, all of which reflected the noble quality of the elderly in an era, and we will always remember and admire him.
