Double-braced calligraphy couplets

Double calligraphy works are introduced in detail as follows:

I. Works:

1. On the eve of August 1st Army Day, Jinnan Calligraphers' Association organized members to write couplets with the theme of "Double Support", with the content of excellent couplets collected and selected by the Municipal Couplets' Association.

2. The 47 works on display, with distinct themes, vividly reflect the historical process of leading the people to forge ahead courageously with rich ideological connotations and exquisite artistic techniques, which not only fully embodies the support and love of calligraphy lovers in southern Shanxi for the people's soldiers, but also enthusiastically eulogizes the true feelings of the military and civilians and builds the Chinese dream together.

Second, the introduction to calligraphy:

1. China's calligraphy is an ancient art of writing Chinese characters. From Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Shi Guwen, bronze inscriptions to Da Zhuan, Xiao Zhuan and Li Shu, and then to cursive script, regular script and running script in the Eastern Han Dynasty and Wei and Jin Dynasties, calligraphy has always exuded artistic charm. China's calligraphy is an original performance art of Han nationality, which is known as silent poetry, wireless dance, no painting and silent music.

2. Chinese characters are an important factor in China's calligraphy, because China's calligraphy was developed in China culture, and Chinese characters are one of the basic elements of China culture. Relying on Chinese characters is the main symbol that distinguishes China's calligraphy from other kinds of calligraphy.

3. China's 5,000-year splendid civilization and unparalleled rich written records have been recognized by the world. In this vast and profound historical river, China's painting and calligraphy art reproduces this diachronic evolution process with its unique artistic form and artistic language. In the historical evolution, calligraphy and painting, a sister art, explained the traditional cultural connotation of China with its complementarity and independence. Because the tools and materials used in painting and calligraphy creation are the same.

4. When talking about the origin of ancient characters and pictures in China, the famous paintings of past dynasties all said that it was just the right time. Calligraphy and painting are integrated, but they are not separated. The image system is innovative but sketchy, so some books don't convey its meaning, and some paintings don't see its shape. Although calligraphy and painting are homologous and comparable, their future development has changed in a complementary and independent way.
