Don't misinterpret the "clumsiness" of calligraphy, it's better to be "clever"

In recent years, some people deliberately write calligraphy like a child and call it "clumsy".

In fact, these people misinterpret the "clumsiness" of calligraphy. The word "clumsy" used by the ancients is closer to the meaning of "nature" than silly.

Even in reality, no one likes to be silly. People who write "clumsy books" are affected and full of ugliness. Any pen used in the center is a "floating cloud", completely abandoning the exquisiteness of ancient calligraphy and only recognizing "clumsy", pointing out who said that calligraphy is "clumsy". I said, big brother, our culture is low, we can't understand it, and we scribble.

The ancients emphasized that "clumsiness" refers to the beauty of nature without affectation, but it is more clear that "cleverness" in calligraphy is better. Of course, this "cleverness" is not opportunistic, but a skill summed up in long-term writing.

In fact, there is no profound theory about calligraphy, but a kind of natural beauty. It just happened that a group of "theorists" misled a large number of calligraphy lovers by blindly explaining.

For example, when you suddenly see that the book spectrum says "clumsy" is good, you talk nonsense, saying that writing is like a child returning to nature, and so on. That kind of writing is cute only when children write it. It's disgusting to pretend to be a child when you're 70 or 80 years old.

Writing well is what I have always advocated. Only natural beauty will last forever. Those man-made things were eventually abandoned by history and became the laughing stock of future generations.
