Dianshan is located in Hongchuan Town, Chengxian County, 22 kilometers away from the county seat, with its back to the West Qinling Mountains and overlooking the Hedian River and vast fields, with an altitude of about 1000 meters. Because of the steep peaks and lush trees, it looks like Youlong, and the locals also call it Black Dragon Ridge. As early as the Northern Song Dynasty, there were Taoist buildings in Dianshan. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Taoist Zhang Sanfeng visited here. Taoist activities reached their peak in the Qing Dynasty, and various buildings, such as mountain gates, Taoist temples, theaters, bell rooms and temples, were quite large and spread all over the mountains. Local gentlemen and wealthy families often go to the mountains to enjoy the cool in summer. Unfortunately, many ancient buildings were destroyed in the mid-20th century, and they were only slightly restored after 1980s, but their shapes were simple and sheltered from the wind and rain. In recent years, large-scale construction has been carried out here.
