Are running script and calligraphy easy to learn?

When it comes to learning calligraphy, the most difficult thing is running script. If you don't have a deep foundation in regular script, don't try running script easily. The study of running script began with Wang Xizhi. Preface to Lanting and Preface to Saint Education are all examples for beginners. Don't be quick in running script. Beginners should carefully look at the form of strokes and strive to be very similar. Practice makes perfect. They will blindly pursue when writing running script. When they write, they will find that what they write is quite different from what they post.
